I find myself estimating shader density of puddles as I walk by, or the transparency settings of a plastic carrier bag. It'll be good to get away from the PC brain.

Been rendering her pretty much non-stop over the weekend, and she's about 93% of the way complete. I reckon she'll be good to go by tomorrow. Maybe am, maybe pm, we'll see.

Managed to make a start on the next April scene, to accompany a slightly more substantial than usual body of text. Again, no real ETA on this as I've just convinced myself that I absolutely have to render with super-awesome-time-consuming settings, else everything is futile and doomed, plus there's a little more writing/editing to do yet.
