This logic works on event decks too, but they appear to be stationary for years. I keep coming across things like Theros Event Decks (which contain a RTR shock each!) and they haven't really moved much. This new trend with Challenger Decks will be interesting to watch.
2020-07-10 22:09:17 +0000 UTCHigh value sealed product that has a lower than expected price: Brawl Deck 8 Packs - Valuable card breakdown Shocklands (1 per box) ~$9 * 8 boxes = 62$ Arcane Signet (1 per box) ~$5 * 8 boxes = 40$ Smothering Tithe (only in Faries deck) ~$15 * 2 boxes = $30 Current Ebay: $140 + taxes = ~$155... Based on simple market value of a few cards in the boxes this product is ripe for arbitrage and long term growth.
2020-07-10 17:25:46 +0000 UTCThank you Rudy for providing this information to use:). Your a true supreme burrito!!

2020-07-10 15:28:28 +0000 UTCYou left out dominaria and its movement, while not being as much as others, is seemingly nowhere for under 175 plus tax and shipping, when back in January I was buying all I could handle for right at a 100 with free shipping...

2020-07-10 12:30:55 +0000 UTCSurprising about the challenger decks, I would have guessed something with more potential scarcity...

2020-07-10 12:23:07 +0000 UTCCan anyone tell me how many packs of double masters will be in a Master case? Will each of those miniboxes have four packs? how many of those miniboxes come in a case?
2020-07-10 06:30:46 +0000 UTCRudy’s power over the sealed market is impressive. He needs to preface his patron “heads up” notices not as “current market movement” but as “hey guys watch me move the market on these boxes with a 10 minute post”. After his Patreon post amonkhet was $150 plus tax on eBay and tcg. After the post now they are $170-200.... timmys sure do love tacos

2020-07-10 04:50:18 +0000 UTCGift boxes are really great for storage. I'd buy one every set of they still offered them.
2020-07-10 03:20:32 +0000 UTCThe end of your vid today scared the shit out of me and my dog lmao, well played sir.
2020-07-10 03:05:25 +0000 UTCHey Rudy! I'd do a double hour of devastation box opening! Let me know!
2020-07-10 02:14:39 +0000 UTCRudy. what's your take on gift boxes? You talked about ToE deluxe ones but, not the OGs from way back to RTR. I've been buying up all the Kaladesh ones I see for $20 which is weird since the KAL boosters are pushing over $200 and it's known that the supplemental products from KAL (ie. fat packs, gift boxes) do not follow the same chances rule of getting a lottery card as does booster boxes do. So, you have a better chance of pulling in them. I feel if KAL packs are averaging over $6 a pack, gift boxes are a nice sealed product, with even extras, way under that price point.

2020-07-10 01:09:52 +0000 UTCI volunteer as tribute to open a double box of Amonkhet Rudy!
2020-07-10 01:09:26 +0000 UTCSo a brick of challenger is 8 decks right? 2 of each deck?

2020-07-10 00:38:10 +0000 UTCLove the inside scoop Rudy great tech!

2020-07-09 22:22:25 +0000 UTCI think I’m missing something as well, I just bought a set of the 2018 challenger decks for $120 including shipping and tax for the 4 decks just today. They had the sealed brick for $200 all on TCGplayer. I also bought a butt load of the Kaladesh gift boxes, I imagine those are worth something now but idk.
2020-07-09 22:20:44 +0000 UTCSomeone is staying the course over there =p

2020-07-09 22:07:31 +0000 UTCI picked up 28 of those Throne Holiday Gift Boxes for $33 a piece. Happy with that choice. However I am not seeing those prices for Amonkhet, Hour of Dev, Kaladesh. I am seeing $155, $140, and $205 + tax respectively for English boxes on TCGPlayer. And there is enough inventory to think that it will not climb unless there is a run on boxes. What am I missing?

2020-07-09 21:47:20 +0000 UTCI wrote Rudy an email exactly a year ago telling him how I thought Amonkhet and Hour were going to be expensive due to the masterpieces. I picked up 6 of each for 80 bucks sealed! Glad it's starting to pay off!

2020-07-09 18:22:20 +0000 UTCNice. Glad I listened to Rudy in one of his older videos and picked up a position on Amonkhet for 120/box
Aaron
2020-07-09 17:26:51 +0000 UTCmakes u wonder bout theros standard right. the only factor we dont know is if the collectors box does anything to it.
2020-07-09 17:11:15 +0000 UTCThanks for the info!

2020-07-09 16:13:28 +0000 UTCThanks Rudy for this information
2020-07-09 16:12:16 +0000 UTCWhat a world we live in when Iconic masters still a dumpster fire with the $200 price point.
2020-07-09 16:09:56 +0000 UTCMy LGS had Amonkhet marked at $100 each a couple weeks ago. I asked if that was the right price and they said yes, so I bought the last two they had. Win!
2020-07-09 16:08:29 +0000 UTCThank you Rudy
2020-07-09 16:08:21 +0000 UTCWhat I learned from Rudy is buy the crap boxes no one wants and wait for everyone else to wake up. I kid a bit here, but those of us that bought Amonkhet, Hour of Devastation, Battlebond, Ixalan, and Rivals of Ixalan when no one else was are reaping the rewards right on schedule. Rudy's whiteboard lamentations video following soon i'm sure.
