When a local hero, Solar Girl, blasts him with her Solar Beam. The mix of his pseudo plant physiology, the growth serum, and the direct sunlight causes him to bloom into a beautiful flower girl (who Solar Girl thinks is really cute!) This pretty much fixes her, and she doesn't want to be evil anymore, she's just happy to be fighting crime with her new girlfriend/partner as the new hero "Bloom!"
