Making Tier Changes.

Okay, so, several weeks late, but that’s the story of my life.

I’m removing the patron tiers. If it works how I expect it to, you’ll be able to receive all the benefits of membership for as much or as little (down to Patreon’s minimum pledge amount) as you’re willing to give. It’s a change I’ve been telling myself I need to make for quite awhile now because it would just fit better with the way I shamble.

I don’t entirely plan to change how I use the page, it’ll functionally just be my neo-twitter, but with the extra sketches and unfinished things I don’t upload elsewhere. Oh, and, maybe actually somewhat useful tagging going forward.

An extra note, due to the rules of the platform, I can’t make any of the saucy stuff visible for free members, even if it’s public on other sites (itaku, FA, wherever else) – as doing so would essentially make them publicly visible, and I’m not allowed to do that.

Because the tiers are going away, I’m changing a couple of the benefits of membership.

* The WIP posts will be visible to all. Not that I’ve made any in...a good while. I’ll be going through to check the WIP posts and make sure they’re set to be visible to all paid members, so you won’t be losing access to that stuff.

* I’m removing the discord user group as a benefit. I just put it in there when I first made the page because, for six-years-younger-me, it felt like something you were “supposed” to do. I was never stoked about it, for a bunch of social reasons, and I completely neglected to give it any true value, and I don’t want to give the impression that joining the server is contingent upon greasing my palms. People can always just ask for an invite.

*Not a benefit change, but, current patrons, I’ll be getting in contact, through the Patreon website, over the course of the next week to offer to draw you something, colored and shaded, as a token of my appreciation—and also as a way of begging you forgive my serial fucking around. This is free, there’s no strings attached, and I’m putting a sticky note directly on my monitor so that I don’t forget. Of course, you’re free to decline the offer, but if you don’t, please have at least a vague idea ready!

I also plan to post June’s sketches along with July’s at the end of this month, as I have the last few times I’ve “skipped” months.

I’m also pausing billing for one more month, just in case I get struck by lightning between making this post and implementing the changes. I’ll be taking the opportunity to switch over to the newer subscription system, where people get charged monthly on the same day they joined. I don’t know how that interaction’s gonna work, but I’m just going to assume that the new way will overwrite the billing pause.
