December HP Poll

So here we go with the Harry Potter poll. This will run until the third. At that point, I will close it down, and start work on it immediately. Hopefully give me time to go over Jurney Gone Astray once Hiryo gets it back to me.

Fate Touched in Middle Earth – Tolkien/HP crossover: After Harry is almost killed by his new allies, a philosophical debate occurs on the morality of questioning prisoners via regular torture, or mental domination. A moral line is crossed, resulting in a great deal of information, and a very, very sick Harry, who vows to never cross that line again prior to leaving his dwarven allies behind, racing southward to do what he can to prevent a greater defeat in this war than those already suffered by the dwarves. At the same time, Thorin and his army face their first battle with Saruman in tow and Tauriel leaves the Grey Mountains behind. The feeling that she has been following ever since leaving home continues as she moves across the Withered Heath, pulling her further northward, until she finds actual tracks of the normal denizens of this area.  At that moment, the feeling fades, leaving Tauriel on her own to take up the hunt without further aid from the Hunter… despite the tremendous size of the quarry in question. A run for the ages has Harry entering House Blackbeard territory less than a week after leaving the Stonefoot army behind, although it still takes him several days to find any evidence of the war going on, during which Thorin, unknowing, leads his army into an ambush that only true dwarven grit and aid unlooked for can possibly get him out of.

Magic of the Force – SW/HP crossover: tower of darkness is invaded, pushing the Jedi under Plo Koon to their utmost, with more falling to the dark, as they face the brotherhood of the Sith, made mad and furious by the fall of the veil. Back in the rest of the world, the time for separation has come, and hits Harry and Allison adjust as hard as both of them feared it would, putting them both into comas. This leaves Zule on her own for a time as she and Allison speed through hyperspace, while Padme, Ahsoka, and the crew of the tire in Spain do what they can to hide what is happened to Harry, succeeding magnificently until he wakes up several days later. Meanwhile, events in Karelia heat up again, as C’baoth, now pleased with the weapon he has welded together in his grand fleet, pushes on to Karelia only to divert at the last moment to the whispering of the dark side. A trap is sprung too soon, or so he assumes, until reality comes hammering down on him, leaving both sides engaged in the largest naval engagement in Republic history.  Seeing a chance for victory, Dominus attempts to seize it, only to find his way barred by a rock, upon which his plan shatters.

FILFy Teacher – HP/Highschool DxD crossover:  A moment to breath is had by all, during which decisions are made, a conversation occurs between Cu and Harry, while Rias makes an official announcement much to the joy of the entire clan. You days, Harry and the others juggle various demands on their time, as work on the greater undertaking continue, with all of them contributing as much as possible. Thanks to the time dilation effect of Danan helping things along, not a week on earth goes by, during which there are still several more natural disasters, before the prep time is finished, and the ritual can begin. A ritual that is interrupted in various places due to how obvious it is, and proves to be far too tempting a target for Ophis and the remaining members of the chaos brigade. And various other members of the clan face war on the home front, while Harry finds himself fighting enemies who are too blinded by their own arrogance and personal beliefs to understand what is at stake. Blood is shed before peace can be given a chance, and those with Harry find themselves hard-pressed, while at home, a tragedy occurs.

Bhaalson Remodel – HP/Baldur’s Gate/Gamer crossover: As Harry is nearly inundated by notifications from his AAS, he ignores them for now to share his surprise discussion with the god Tyr which lead to his choice of following the god of Justice, which was not normal, to say the least. Meanwhile, Thalantyr and Keldatth have a discussion about the night’s events, and Imoen…and Tonks Original Flavor…have a face-to-face meeting, arbitrated by yet another god, which leads to further revelations until one of them is resurrected. Harry, Imoen, Viconia and the others are forced to convalesce, as the temple is forced to use its limited resources on it’s own and those fighters who can be put right fastest. This leads to a small confrontation with Vai, which goes nowhere as she and Keldatth officially accept that Harry and his band have finished rehabilitating themselves and then some in the eyes of Beregost. Harry waits to go over his notifations as more are added, and he pushes the local smith for a favor, and free repairs, much to his chagrin. Edwina and Alora apologize to Imoen, taking her out on a night of drinking, while Viconia and Harry have a night to remember for both of them.  The rest of the team return, and much discussion is had about both personal things and AAS things, before FINALLY, a certain Harper associate arrives to take possession of the dagger and give some further advice before the group settles down to wait out the rest of winter. 

Yes, I just put FILFy in the poll.  This way it allows you all to push it to the finishing line, or it can allow me to write up something else this month for HP.  I… I really don’t know how well I could work on FILFy, and that’s despite half of this chapter not being combat related.   I will, however, only vote if Bhaalson Remodel has a chance of winning. It will get the carry-over effect, though, of 709  so… we will see.
