Patron Only Poll Response September2025

Hello.  My legs hurt.  SO much holding heavy things as my brother does the fiddly bits, so many awkward positions, squatting...  Ow. I am in pain.  And will be sitting down most of the day.  So, hey, at least I can probably get a lot done, right?  So first is the Patron Only poll results:

Last place, which makes me want to cry… Heroes of the High Seas with only 630 votes. OUCH.  I decided not to vote for it, as the Ranma poll will be the last priority this month, and I know I can get a Ranma/tali… er, that is Effect of a Horse and a Dragon chapter out faster.  LOL. 

King of Champions brought in 1,397.

Which mean that even before the 902 carry over effect, Climbing Together would have won this month’s poll. With it, it won a flawless victory of 2,478.

Huh… with what happened with FILFy…

Actually, that’s a question… hmm... Okay, so I won't be able to get the full chapter out. No chance. Only two days to finish it, no. Too much to do, the Akeno/Luna fight is a joke, the Harry/Akhenaten fight is too blah, need to have their spells match their styles, so nothing comes out as too OOC, and of course I need to write out the full thing, along with the ladies portion, which is even less finalized, obviously. UGH. That's...going to take a while. And I don't want to split the chapter. And of course I want to send the chapter out to an editor. All that, not going to happen by the end of the month. I could finish the Hero Faction/Yubelluna group fight and the Sirzechs fight, but, ehh... I don't think on their own that they make much sense.

So I may go with a few mini-scenes of Going Off the Rails. Two of those scenes I've had outlined and partially written since i put up the revamped version. Adding a third and finishing them up won't take me long. Hope that helps tide you over, HP fans.

In other news, to those of you with a more artistic bent, what programs would you recommend for someone like me, who has no artistic sensibilities? I am still considering adding images to my fics. I might do that in the next Climbing Together chapter and see what it looks like.
