Hypnos- Batman Transformation Redesign (edit: Batgod?)
Added 2022-04-15 19:03:15 +0000 UTCI hope you guys don't mind me jumping around between projects but sometimes an idea just needs to get fleshed out. Here's a redesign for the Bat's transformation. I think it's better than just making him bigger with a monster pipe. Let me know what you think and are there any changes you'd make to other characters before I get that far into the sketches for the Hypnos comic?
Edit: I've settled on this design. Some minor tweaks will be made in the final draft but for the most part I am really digging the idea that Bruce becomes the physical embodiment of his crime fighting persona. A vengeful Batgod skulking around a damp cave hiding his face and identity from the world. Draped in an opulent robe, face adorned with godly symbolism. Staff out on display in pride. Note: Just because he has these things on doesn't mean it's permanently affixed. He will most likely take them off to bone.

Another Hypnos Comic?? Ooooft would love to see CatWoman and PowerGirl again, I think this is a great idea!!.................. I think it will be cool to see BatGod & DarkSeid grabbing female heroes to turn as Bimbo, kind of like a competition between the two. Weve already seen how Darkseid does it. Now we'll see how BatGod does it. Kind of like a Captain America Civil War vibe.......DarkSeid has the "Bad Bimbos" & BatGod has the "Good Bimbos" that will save planet earth. BatGod can have the goal to make the Bad Bimbos submit to him to beat DS.

They would have their way with various if not dozens of super-heroines with WW being the ultimate prize? So I think the Hypno-bimbo-blast would just make his libido go into overdrive or something. It will be interesting to see where Pit takes Catwoman. She's already smoking hot, so probably transforms to be just a bit more buxom and a lot more scandalous outfit.

I was wondering if he would have a motherbox now or like a power ring since it would match his ascended form. Imagine him with a black lantern ring or the phantom lantern ring since he could use all emotions. Lots of possibilities for also powers like being able to see thru bats and use them like how odin uses crows to spy on people. Control over bats and bat creatures ie.

2022-04-15 23:41:10 +0000 UTCI see so it now the physical and mental interpretation of his identity, personally I love the explanation for the mask since I value the use of them for characters like Bruce who sees himself as batman and uses Bruce Wayne as a persona or mask to wear in the world when he isn't the bat. I find the use of symbol now kinda intresting as its a double reinforcement of his new appearance and lifestyle but also how he sees himself and how wants us to see him to complete his goals. A nice touch bringing back the cape in some form with his ropes since it is so iconic to him while also invoking the fact that he is rich, makes me wonder if he still has like tools or gadgets or the bat cave in its original form or if he changed his style now to be more reliant on his new abilities

The mask is obviously a multipurpose piece that uses his symbol as metaphor (the identity and symbol are now a mask) and elevates the symbol to pure identity, rather than an element of his suit, it has become his "face".

Kinda funny now that he has the robe since I guess he is more relaxed knowing he is so powerful now.

2022-04-15 22:39:25 +0000 UTCThere’s an artist named Black Pharaoh who does a dark porn parody of DC comics called Forsaken Souls, in it Batman (among others) gets possessed by demons that makes them promiscuous. And in that comic currently when Batman is in demon mode it looks a lot like this design except leaner and with the bat symbol and belt still visible. But he becomes a man bat creature. I’m more partial to the old design you had, I’m not that against this design tho, but I fear it’s really close to Black Pharaoh’s current design. If you really want to go a more monster/demon route rather than buffed up armor, I highly recommend going more gargoyle like someone above suggested. Maybe keeping the head more like his bat cowl than an actual bat. Edit: just saw the “bat god” edit. I think that looks better, but I’d still tone down the ears.

The ropes are a cool touch and does make it seem like he is some ruler of his domain now. It makes me want to ask if he should also have like flying lil bat minions or I guess Robin's that follow him around and hold his cape or hold lile bat Holy artifacts like I guess the heads of his enemies themed to his villians like a two face or joker.
