2024-12-15 15:48:26 +0000 UTCTo add onto what another person said about blob sizes, it would be amazing if the screen would shake with the bigger blob sizes as they waddle, along with earth quake sound effects and the voice being echoed, maybe slowed down effect to the voice to add to the idea of a fat giant causing absolute mayhem!

2024-12-11 01:13:47 +0000 UTCOoh that sounds fun. I could see the pod creak and grown until a blob gal bursts out of the pod. I also wonder how you would be able to pull off a zero G environment. Unless it is some kind of a swimming environment, I could see this be a VERY technical straining process of making a zero G mechanic. Maybe since its space, maybe have a silly thing where there is a airlock door to the open space. If the character is not a blob, she will be comically sucked into space and respawns in the station. But if she is a blob, she gets stuck and wedged in the door. Or maybe have something to do with aliens or robots. Also does space station also means more sci-fi outfits like more bodysuit designs or even some kind of space suit lol?

2024-12-10 17:49:25 +0000 UTCI've always wanted to take a gluttonous girl and run around a supermarket eating everything off the shelves. Perhaps someday soon it will be a reality. I'm curious as to if you plan to "gamify" the setting a little more, right now my only remotely valid gripe is that it takes barely any time to see most of the available content despite how incredibly polished everything is. Having a mode where you can see her weight as a number, do tasks to earn points to buy food and unlock features would be a great addition for people like me that enjoy slow burn but also measurements and logistics, which (for me) are equally as important as the visual gain itself.

2024-12-10 00:43:30 +0000 UTCAll of these ideas sound really good. The Mall could be fun if you not only have the food court but say a shop to let the player mess in. Or get stuck in the door lamo. The wonka chocolate river is very likely to win out, but its still a really fun idea for a location. Not sure what you would be up to with a space station location. That one would be interesting.

2024-12-09 19:55:19 +0000 UTCFirst time commenting since I had thoughts. I agree with the folks who say the food court and supermarket are too similar to existing maps. Wonka and space station would both be great and add variety. There's already been some great ideas for the Wonka one, but if/when you decide to make the space station, that opens a lot of sci-fi possibilities. Picture a sort of weight gain ray, much like the existing automatic feeder tool. A potentially ominous looking thing that could be a steady, variable speed gain but also have a physics interaction where it creates jiggle at the point of contact. Could be a space ship belonging to an alien race with . . . peculiar interests. The abduction/escape narrative writes itself. Speaking of, I discovered the Snackrooms first and it was honestly the unorthodox idea for a setting and environmental storytelling that got me interested. Unusual for a game like that. I like the sandbox elements you've also done but it was that sense of progression and exploration that really drew me in. While I figure something like that would be a ways off, I'd love to see something more directed/goal oriented like the Snackrooms were.

Having the character drink from said river or fall in, or anything else from the trope would involve new animations, textures and other non-map work. I like going in the direction, but based on location alone, Mall Food Court would win out.

Food court/supermarket are kinda similar to the existing buffet + poolrooms buffet maps (though they do have potential for having NPCs, thats for sure) Sci fi space station is neat. This also reminds me that the guy update dropped and I need to play it. Very glad to see that bois are finally an option. That all said, in candy land I see the potential for experimentation with game mechanics. - brittle candy that cracks underfoot if Jill is heavy enough. Or maybe a type of terrain that simply cracks if a fat Jill walks across? (I imagine like a vanishing beach/snow footsteps kinda deal) - a way to drink from the chocolate river? I presume that would need to work differently from the existing food. Maybe preset straws reaching into the river, that Jill can drink from. - breakable candies, whose pieces turn into food items that can be eaten - Most of the maps are fairly flat, or have only a single 'level', this one could potentially have some verticality like the poolrooms did?
