Up there with some of the most forgettable flicks we have ever done... Elektra is a movie that Dutch Ovens itself under hundreds of bed sheets instead of actually having cool action scenes - to quote the main character herself: "I Hated It." Some good laughs in here though, Enjoy!

Real “Legend of Chun Li” and “Hitman” vibes with this dub. “I was caught up daydreaming about you plowing that Ninjer!” “No daughter of mine’s gonna NOT be a legendary Ninja.” “I’m breaking the ONE ninja rule: don’t fall in LOVE!” “Damn, I’m about to get Ninja-cancelled.” “My tattoos attack you, wait till the elephant trunk comes out!” Elektra gets kicked across the room. Pops: “None of this is cool, dammit!!” Dagger travels through bushes. “What’s that, sounds like rustling leaves.” Gets ganked in the head. Old man gets lost in the front yard maze. “Help, I took a wrong turn…everywhere I look there’s only bushes!”

She's in season 2 of Daredevil and season 1 of The Defenders Team Up Show where Daredevil teams up with Luke cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones

2025-03-23 18:15:05 +0000 UTCI didn't remember anything til I saw the first tattoo moving and I had a rush of memories. This movie is really strange. They put a lot of effort into successfully making it look good, Garner looked good and was pretty much the only one to sell her character. But the story was not interesting enough, and they didn't have enough action to get away with that. And the supernatural stuff wasn't well introduced or explained. Why do these bulletproof teleporting ninjas care about kidnapping a 'chosen one' kid? They could take over the world with the power they have, since it seems no one on the opposing ninja team has any real powers. They all explode into farts, does that mean Elektra and Stick and the girl would too? I wonder if they were hamstrung by the PG rating, no real violence, no corpses, lots of sad 1v1 convo scenes that fell flat. Maybe it was made quickly so they didn't have the time to drill more action scenes. But then all the cinematography was really nice and you don't get that by rushing. I think this movie would have worked better as a TV series for all the flashback stuff and chosen one girl stuff, the ninja faction stuff, falling in love, to develop over 8 episodes instead of a 90 minute movie. But they weren't doing that then.
