In the second part of our squad building manifesto there's some actual specific players discussed, value based squad building philosophies and how to interpret the decision to get rid of our scouts. First Mohamed joins for the second consecutive summer to discuss under the radar transfer targets. Then Scott comes on to discuss how a squad should be built with data and value in mind. Then Elliot and Paul wind up arguing about KSE and the scouts being let go.

I side with Clive on Willian. 100k over (plus signing fee) 3 years is 15 million all up. He is flexible, his stats are good and he seems durable. Importantly he seems very professional and works hard. Thus a great role model for the likes of Nelson, Smith-Rowe, Saka and Gabi. He doesn't kill them, he accentuates them. If we believe in the quality of Gabi and Saka why would you buy someone who kills them?

I've been bigging up Alexander Isak for the last year or so. I've been very much under the impression that he will be an elite player. I wanted us to get him as a hot prospect last summer before he went on loan to Real Sociadad
