Studio Updates - Busy Month! Love Spell's Port Build, Sergio's Story, Shipping & Fulfillment!

Hello, everyone! For February's update, we just wanted to give you all an overview of everything we're working on at the moment.

Things are incredibly busy at the studio right now, but we wanted to make sure we kept you all in the loop with everything that’s going on behind the scenes. Even though this month’s update is short and sweet, we’ve got a lot of exciting progress to share!

📦 Shipping & Fulfillment Madness

We’re currently deep in the shipping and fulfillment stages for both the original Peachleaf Valley campaign and the Cookies & Console campaign. On average, we’re shipping out about 100 orders each week—it’s been a whirlwind, but we’re making great progress! Thank you for your patience as we continue to get your goodies out the door and into your hands.

On that same note, we have some small quantities of merchandise leftover from the campaign(s) now available for preorder on The Studio Shop, alongside some new designs and products that weren't around when the original Peachleaf Valley campaign first launched!

Preorders will ship alongside the physical rewards for the campaign this month through Early March and then remain in the shop until they are sold out. (Orders with physical rewards placed on Kickstarter and our shop are completely independent of each other and will be fulfilled at different times, so please note that we cannot combine orders or shipping at this time.)

At this moment, we do not know if any of these items will be restocked.

🎮 Love Spell on Nintendo Switch: Playtesting in Full Swing

We’ve also been working closely with our porting partners over at Viridian to ensure Love Spell: Written in the Stars and its accompanying DLCs are running smoothly on Nintendo Switch.

This process involves heavy playtesting and reporting back and forth between both teams to catch bugs and implement quality-of-life improvements. Seeing Love Spell on the Switch has been surreal for our small team, and we can’t wait for you to experience it soon!

✍️ Sergio’s Story (DLC) Script Development

On top of everything else, we’ve officially started early development on the script for Sergio’s Story (DLC)! While our main focus this year is on Peachleaf Valley's release on PC, we’d also love to see Sergio’s Story come to life.

Finalizing the script within Q1 will be a huge step toward that goal, and we’re excited to dive deeper into Sergio’s narrative.

🎙️ Upcoming Voice Recording Phase for Peachleaf Valley

As we move into the latter half of February and into March, we’ll be transitioning into the official voice recording phase for Peachleaf Valley. This is one of the final major milestones in development, and we’re excited to bring our characters to life with the help of some incredibly talented voice actors.

Lots to do, and it’s busy, busy, busy around here!

🚨 BIG NEWS: Peachleaf Valley is Coming to Nintendo Switch!

And now, for the exciting announcement that many of you have been waiting for…

We’re thrilled to officially announce that Peachleaf Valley: Seeds of Love is coming to Nintendo Switch! 🎉

During our Cookies & Console campaign, we came close to reaching our porting goal but fell short by about $7,000. We opened Late Pledges to help cover the gap, but due to a backend error, the feature closed earlier than expected, and Kickstarter was unable to re-enable it.

Despite this hiccup, we’re committed to bringing Peachleaf Valley to consoles, and we’ve decided to fund the remaining amount out of pocket to make this dream a reality.

We truly appreciate your patience and support as we work to bring Peachleaf Valley to more platforms. This milestone means so much to us as an indie studio, and we can’t wait for you to experience the game on Nintendo Switch!
