Girl From Nowhere Ep 9

Lockdown

Comments

is it poor writing when every other movie/tv show that depicts this scenario does the same thing? i have yet to see this done where everyone is cool calm and collected. its just how this is done in film for whatever reason.

rickie woodson

I can understand hating koh, but to think the teacher didn't do ANYTHING wrong is wild.

Dyastro

"Weightlifting fairy"! "DP"! "Extracurricular"! "Mr. Queen"! "Fight my way"! "Castaway Diva"!

Dyastro

Also, I would have a few more words if the kids were a little younger. Like if the teacher pulled this stunt with middle schoolers or younger then lmao

Nita - Kento's Widow

Yeah, it's hard for me to blame the teacher for protecting his kid. I do think he was too adamant about making Koh leave by himself but they really all should've just stayed in the classroom or stayed together. Even if the killer wasn't gone, a group is stronger than a single person. The selfishness reminded me a bit that girl in the beginning of All of Us Are Dead in a way and even Train to Busan. I want to believe I would at least try to keep people safe and together during those situations, but fear does wild things.

Nita - Kento's Widow

I'm on the teachers side my daughter over everyone else. Fuck them kids, Koh was an annoying little shithead who kept staring problemswith everybody. Realistically someone would've killed him eventually even if there wasn't a crazy serial killer on the loose.

Jamaal Ellison

This episode felt like some white girl in a slasher movie logic. For clarification, I specifically mean the intro scene to Scary Movie involving the popcorn ๐Ÿคฃ

NovaVortex

Well um...that ending discussing was ALOT ๐Ÿ’€ but it is nice to see you guys talk to passionately about the shows pros and cons

Metweet .c

It's true that many ppl can become selfish in this situation but they did try to open the door he kept pushing them away ๐Ÿ˜‚. I wasn't opening the door though

LaTesha

The first time I watched this ep I was just laughing my ass off cause everybody was being dumb af...like omg do better

SunnyShai

One of my favorite episodes

LaTesha

They do try to make it ambiguous. It seems almost certain the boyfriend killed him. He was the most willing to leave the room and in anger. He also said โ€˜I gotta peeโ€™ and Koh died in the toilets.

Adam Lawson

Nanno chooses the ones who usually makes the worst decisions. We wouldn't be following anyone who actually uses logic.

Devante Vickers

Love Nanno sitting there letting humans human and sprinkling drama in ๐Ÿ˜‚

Nae

I think this is the episode i was confused about the most but also i think itโ€™s definitely up to the viewer on how koh died i think he could of done it himself .. but yea this episode was abit of a creepy one to me still very good though!!

ronnie

also, everyone in that room was jarring except the child (and nanno, because I would forget she was even there with how quiet she was most of the time.)

Moonie

also, please react to weightlifting fairy kim bokjoo

Moonie

enjoyed you guys' reaction, I understand the parent wanting to protect his daughter at all costs, but I think he should have stuck to doing that and just owned up to the fact that, he dgaf about the students, instead of trying to act like, it was his intention to keep the students safe too, and then at the end trying to be a hero, because of what nanno said. Like- sir. you already let three students out that door before deciding it was time you went yourself, you're no hero. he should have just stayed with his daughter. As a grown man, as the adult in the room, he should have handled that situation a lot better, IMO.

Moonie

And the GROWN ADULT teacher shouldโ€™ve been the one to go for help not a damn student Iโ€™m surprised nobody caught that ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€ grown man trying to make a student go for help is crazy ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Kayla

Craziest part is it was never kohs fault they acting like he held them there purposefully knowing the killer would come ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Kayla

Wdym??

Sun

The first time I watched this episode it stressed me out so much. They were all being loud asf for no reason ๐Ÿ˜ญThis episode is pretty popular since people like to make theories on who killed Koh. Everyone hates him and most people don't think the teacher did anything wrong lol

Brenda Kai

I think the conversation at the end with the teacherโ€™s daughter is interesting because itโ€™s easy for nanno to judge people based on their โ€œselfishโ€ actions/decisions because she isnโ€™t human - she has this almost mechanical brain that only sees in black and white so for the viewers some of HER decisions are almost more questionable than any decisions the people sheโ€™s judging make lol itโ€™s what I like the most about the show!

cami ู‹

I believe this ep was based on a true story about a school killing

I loved this show from when it first came out and still love it now

Reckless Company

Uhm? What did blocking those doors with the chairs do? We clearly saw they open one way, the other way.
