Moral of the Story - Where the Apple Lies

In today's edition of Moral of the Story, we're going to take a look at the consequences of solving a problem through dishonesty in it's most basic form - as it was presented in "Where the Apple Lies."
I'm also going to discuss the implications of assisting others in their lies and how you can potentially share responsibility for someone's actions when you're involved and choose to remain complacent.
For the most part, I liked the way that the moral was presented. However, I'm not sure I agree with Big Macintosh's description of his part in it. He said that this could have been avoided if he'd talked less and listened more.
Perhaps that's true to a degree. Him and Applejack should not have been competing in this way. But my main problem is that he didn't speak up right away to Granny Smith and Filthy Rich and tried to cover for his sister. That, I believe, is much worse.
