September End of Month review
Added 2018-09-30 23:57:50 +0000 UTCWhew... well, September certainly was quite the month. Unfortunately what was supposed to be the cresting of my work was hindered by an illness and then a back spasm, and though we're going into October a bit behind what we're supposed to be this was definitely not a bad month. The patreon is getting close to hitting it's second goal and my twitch continues to grow while I keep paring down my commission queue. Thanks to a generous outpouring on the latter I was able to get some upgraded equipment so that I can continue to enhance not only my twitch experience but bring upgraded products to both patreon and my store.
This month really was a work month so there's not a whole of of additional things to report as far as that goes. I definitely have gotten a bit of a boost and though I didn't get all my goals on Rain and Shine I definitely got far enough where I'm comfortable moving on to October. There's also the push back of commission dates but I think with everything coming along and my mate working overtime I'd rather keep chewing away at the workload so that by the end of October I can make an offering without having too much more in my queue on the backlog. However there's still a lot of work to do and I can't stop going even after the lockdown is now officially over.
So my goals for next month are as follows:
- Fur Reality: I'll be at the Dealer's Den there with my mate and we're hoping to make a decent show of sales since we'll be exposed to a newer market than the midwest crowd of IFC, MCFC, and FurSquared. While we don't have specific goals in mind there will be the attempt to pay for hotel and such so that we have more money for the comic.
- Book Covers: With the knowledge that we're definitely going to be going to MFF in December I will be getting a number of books finished up and ready to print/publish. The big ones are going to be How to Enter Dragon Heaven and A Brand New You, with a few potential additional ones that could be done.
- Comic: If everything goes to plan we could have issue four of the comic started by late Oct. or early Nov. Either way we want to get it done before Fur Squared so that we have something we can debut there. The kickstarter isn't going to make it so we're going to have to fund this ourselves, but that's what this is for.
- Ren'Py Game: So due to falling behind with the back problems I'm going to be getting the additional two paths done in this game and saving the horror game that I want to do until Nov., where I will be working on it along with the likely optimization of Rain and Shine. We'll see how that goes, if I get them done early then I may move onto the other game, but we'll have to see since the horror game is going to be dependent on the ability to get stuff like art assets to it.
- Twitch: My Twitch is still growing and with the additional equipment we're hoping that there's going to be a lot new stuff coming down the pipeline. While this hadn't been the intent I want to really look into how we're doing with such a thing and if this is something that can be grown then it's worth looking into.
- New patreon content: Last but not least with the new equipment that we're getting for Twitch I hope to have additional rewards that I can tack on to the tiers here, so expect to see things such as possible audio files of stories, hypnosis, and potential podcasts. Patreon is one of those things that we want to continue to update and evolve so that we can keep bringing in new people and eventually get to that end goal. ;)
That's about it, going to be another busy October especially with Fur Reality happening. November is going to be another lockdown month too, so watch out for that!
That's it, take care everyone.
