TLDR: burnout recovery's incredibly slow but the goal is to finish the paid queue by year's end. the monthly sticker club will discontinue going into 2025, however the joining perk of 1 free sticker for new RTS members and 2 free stickers for new RKF members will stay active. meanwhile in burnout, the sites got much-needed updates, including two new sites such as the GOREfolio and a page for commission events/specials for 2025.
GT Queue update:
while frustrated I still have a queue, it's coming along with several of them are in progress! the plan by now is to finish them before new year so I can start fresh.
the burnout's definitely centered around the Illustrations since they're bringing back those good old executive dysfuction tendencies I haven't felt since college. it'll be likely I go forward by limiting illus comms to avoid it in the future. when I started GT last year, I dropped my original model of taking comms/payments one at a time and opted for taking payments as the inquiries come no matter what. while I lasted a good while with that, anything bigger than doodles will be going back to that old model, just to allow more small things to work on alongside the tedious big things.
In regards to the Sticker Club:
november's stickers have arrived and they look great!! my fluffy old man got bathed the other day and it reminded me I wanted to dedicate december's sticker to my dog Casanova. Dec 24th is his Gotcha Day and if the vet guessed his age correctly, he's coming up on ten years old already! I always pictured it in a experimental cutesy art style I did back in july, for kicks. I look to dispatch nov and dec's together once Cas' made.
with that said, how upset would yall be if I said I may have to discontinue the sticker club come 2025?
unfortunately it's just not sustainable nor all that successful, so l do a lot of giving away since there's quite a bit of overstock already, and if a sticker has mistakes (which is more common than l'd like) l either release the flawed stickers or get replacements .... which means even more stickers piling up.
I feel like if I did more physical conventions where I have more product output it would be worth it, but for now it just feels like an ambitious idea I probably shouldn't have started out the gate with. sticker making is fun, but it's quickly become a little disheartening to receive flawed stickers as l'm not given previews beforehand. I also can’t control the quantity of the stickers to prevent overstock either. and finally a while back, I got a takedown notice on my etsy shop since some stuff I make is fanart, so that just kinda broke me on this merch making subject quick.
I need to put more focus on content rather than merchandise, and maybe some day the sticker club can be brought back with much better success. Cas' sticker will be the last one before discontinuing, however I will keep a free sticker perk for new substar/patreon/kofi members, 1 for RTS and 2 for RKF, where you get the pick from my entire sticker catalog while they last. the sticker perks for all member platforms have been updated as you read this.
the burnout made me realize how much I took on, which was Way Too Much. I apologize for how rough my start's been, I look to really iron it all out in 2025 OR SO HELP ME—
Site Updates w/ NEW Pages:
while I'm getting back into the art groove, I gave the sites a facelift!
https://porcumoose.carrd.co/
https://porcumooseportfolio.carrd.co/
even added some brand new sites like the GOREfolio and an events page ~
https://porcumoosegorefolio.carrd.co/
https://porcumooseevents.carrd.co/
I wanted a focus on artistic and furry "holidays" specifically, if I missed any then hey lemme know, I'll consider adding more! (only rule is I don't want overlays, especially for Be Mine and Gorin' Time which are now two month long events starting next year.)
enough with the yapping, thanks so much for reading!
