I do love this comic but it's lagging my phone when I come to view at least the Green Valley ones.. as they're not posted on Webtoon like the main comic when they're public there isn't much of an alternative

2024-12-28 19:52:39 +0000 UTCActually that's cool It might be resource hungry though for the server Even if it cached the edits, it still has to store it and if it doesn't it has to edit the image on the fly every time its loaded The Rabbit R1 device does this when you take pics with it, excerpt it's more of an Easter egg of a rabbit being randomly injected into the AI generated magic image of the picture taken

2024-12-24 05:15:33 +0000 UTCThe custom watermarks don’t have to be human readable. You could embed features into the background to make each image unique to the account it was sent to. It wouldn’t be as big a deterrent but it would still let you ID the leaker, so you can ban them or seek some other revenge.

I wish I was joking when I say it was actually crashing my web browser on my phone (Waterfox) I was curious what was going on and saw that. My phone is a Pixel 6 Pro so It's not an old generation device either. If the current watermark setup is what you guys want, at least don't load the images as base64 strings or something. I don't want to challenge the choices but I'm curious about the damaging aspect.. are others gaining monetary value from it / inappropriate edits or is it just being shared? I only ask because ithinkilikeyou is the only comic I know of that is pushing the watermarks this far and has peaked my interest, no disrespect meant at all I love the series

Buuuuut I have to comment about how distracting the patreon watermark is with both your own patron ID and email address plastered every 10-20px across the entire images.. I CAN'T be the only one finding it like that Edit: Also something about it is lagging the hell out of my phone, it really doesn't like the comic pages at all
