Well friends, here we are again, another end of year video.

My goal with this video was to not let it turn into an “hour plus” monstrosity. I wanted to make something simple and fun, and try not to go insane while making it. I feel like i’ve gotten too in my head about making videos, and it makes me second guess myself. Despite how it might seem sometimes, I really do not want to only make 2 - 3 videos a year, and while I think inevitably i am going to end up making long videos (honestly, i do really love that all consuming obsession I get when i make those videos, i just don’t want it to be every video), i think it would be healthy for me to be able to make shorter ones too, and 30 to 40 minutes feels good. It’s enough time to deep dive on a more specific subject without it becoming a life destroying monster.

I've wanted to make another video about fighting for a while now. My own relationship with fighting has changed a lot in the last year, Im training about twice times as much as I used to, that time being split 60/40 between boxing and BJJ, and god damn i love it so much. The euphoria and peace I feel after a tough spar are roll are often the best parts of my day, and i really hope that comes across in this video. Obviously, I wanted to tackle the sheer CLOWN BEHAVIOR of jake paul, but i wanted to come at it from an angle of loving fighting, as opposed to hating jake paul. I’m really happy with the outcome.

It’s kind of wild to think about, but two days after this video goes up will be my 9th year making youtube videos. I am officially an internet fossil.

Honestly, its difficult to remember what life was like without this job, but its afforded me a life, opportunities, and relationships I never other wise would have.

Do not tell woolie this, but if you told me ten years ago that we’d be doing a podcast together, I think my head would genuinely explode.

So thank you for that, thank you for everything I have. I will never stop appreciating it, and I will never be able to express how much it means to me.

For now, my plan is to go hibernate for a little while. The combination of getting three videos done in the last couple of months as well as moving has left me totally tapped, so im gonna go rest up. Not quite sure when I'll be back, but I want to give myself wnough time so the creative juices start flowing again, and im excited to make videos
