Even by your standards, this was exceptional. This is deeply challenging subject matter to explain (or at least to explain to me given that I've completely bounced off several other people's attempts) and yet you presented it with such clarity that not even my running a 103º fever prevented my understanding it. ...to the best of my knowledge, at least. Heya! You brought up House of Leaves and I geeked... and guess what... the writer of the book and his sister took some of the text from the book and overlapped it with one of her songs... and it creates something that is almost an audio liminal space in it's uncomfortable nature. It's a song about sex, but underneath the words is something almost eldritch. The writer's sister is the music artist Poe.
