I thought you all might be interested in an update on forthcoming content and that it would be good for us too to remind ourselves of what is on the docket.
So, upcoming we have:
A Return to Gary: This is a full-length decoding of a recent interview with Gary. There will probably be a reduced-length version on the public feed and the full-fat director's cut on Patreon. Chris is editing this currently, but it is 4 hours+ in raw format. It might be out this weekend.
Interview with James Bloodworth: We have a discussion with James about his book on the manosphere and related arenas. Already recorded and just in need of some editing.
Chris & Matt's Economics: This is a Decoding Academia episode focusing on reading UK Housing Reports, featuring a short interview with an economics professor with expertise in housing. Try to contain your excitement.
Matthew McConaughey Gurometer: Alright, alright, alright... a little overdue but it takes a while to get to where you want to be. Don't judge yourself!
'Mini' Decoding on Sabine Hossenfelder: Covering her recent apologetics for Eric Weinstein and some broader discussion of the science contrarian space. (RELEASED!)
Naval Ravikant Decoding: We have posted the material already. This is the next full-length decoding after Gary; we should be recording and releasing this next week.
Required Reading: The Genius Myth by Helen Lewis: Does exactly what it says on the tin.
A Return to Sensemaking: Matt and I want to take a brief Sensemaking holiday so we are going to take a look at "A Dialogue So Dangerous, It Just Might Bring You Wisdom | Jordan B. Peterson with John Vervaeke and Jordan Hall | EP 532".
I am sure there is more I am forgetting about, but these are the immediate things to clear off the docket. We also have some upcoming interviews that are not yet fully scheduled, including with Alexander Beiner of Kainos and Al Murray!
Comments
Gary claims poverty, but it sounds like his dad had a stable, run-of-the-mill job, a postman, which lots of people have and even aspire to, at least in the countries I'm familiar with (Spain and Australia). Maybe it's like living under a bridge in London.

Basically because I think Rory Stewart is great (his books are fantastic)... but now they're having an interview with Gary and I just want them to be well briefed...
