Hello,

Hoped you liked SSV3 and can see why we ended there. I’m getting the feeling that maybe there needs to be a little more satisfaction in the ending. Maybe we should see Pix get creamed by Stella or see Mona get upset. Unsure, but I’m thinking about it.

Apparently the 3rd horseman of the apocalypse lives with me. Plague, as I shall now refer to my child, has brought Covid, then strep, then something viral and made a lovely cocktail of bronchitis. Of course, these all barely effected him because he is Plague and one with illness. We are almost through it. Modern medicine is great. *Bruce swallows his pile of pills* That way I can still play with Plague and not die.

Otherwise, things are going well here. I’m coming out of my Plague induced comma and despite it all I’ve actually been doing some good damage on Dao. A writing community has been having a competition this week. Hehe, they have unleashed the competitive Bruce upon themselves and deserve no mercy.

I basically have been writing in bed until I get tired, then napping and repeat. Sorry, I haven’t been very active this last bit.

I’m far enough ahead that I let myself play around today and write a test chapter for a story that’s been swirling in my head. Gasp another story idea! I have too many of them. Good thing I’m getting more productive again, maybe I’ll just have to write more.

Which is why, amongst other reasons, Dao must end here on book 4. But I’m going to build it to the ending I had always planned for the series. I’m almost halfway through and it is going to be a satisfying ending. I have too many other ideas and I need to make some space in my publishing schedule.

Character art slowed down here, that’s my bad. I’ll order another slew of art. I think I liked the one that did Mona, and Melody/Omnigirl. Of course, Yanai is still doing 2 NSFW covers a month for me. Yanai is winding down his work to shift towards patreon. He’s filling my outstanding orders, but I’m unsure how long he’ll be doing the NSFW stuff, so maybe I need to look for someone else to do something similar. Though it is always a question of, ‘do I want realism or the high shading anime style?’

Either way, I’m just pitter pattering along with my keyboard today with the test chapter. Might upload that for you guys tomorrow and then start Dao off with the new week.

PS - Maybe we can have a harem with a horseman of the apocalypse, or or maybe all the horsemen are harem members? Hmm more new ideas. Better get writing.

Edit - Also! Patreon changed a billing thingy and then spammed me to accept it. So I accepted it. Basically if you join and you get billed at joining, you then get a membership for 30 days and it rebills then rather than the beginning of the month. Idk if you guys got the bajillion messages about it too. Seems like a better deal for those that come and go or join up for the first time.
