He would be the main character, but not exactly your typical hero. Over the course of the series, he'll fight various invaders from his old world, helping the humans, but he'll also kill just about anyone that annoys him, Gu is still an orc Warbringer, after all, and he won't put up with challengers. One of the running gags will be that he keeps getting assigned a minder by the government, who he'll usually eat before the end of each book.

I like the setup in the story. It will be interesting to see the Warbringer develop into the Hero if that is where you are going.
