That was a great reaction!! So worth it…the Bulma scene kind of killed the pacing a bit, I wish they just kept the focus on Goku and Frieza. Still, what an iconic episode and transformation. In the sub, Krillin actually yells out “Goku” just before blowing up. I found that a lot more impactful than “help me”. I feel like that would hit Goku a lot harder and push him over the edge seeing his best friend helplessly scream out his name just before dying…

2024-04-01 23:05:21 +0000 UTCIt was Goku's rage over Frieza killing Krillin that pushed him over the edge. He knew that Krillin couldn't be wished back a second time with Earth's Dragon Balls. Having Piccolo sacrifice himself to save Gohan also played a part in Goku becoming a Super Saiyan as well.
