The gumbo's great, Miss Tiana made sure we ate, this movie's so good we're licking the plate! πΈππ

I saw a theory that said that Lottie is actually in love with Tiana and bi or a lesbian but because that wasn't acceptable back then, maybe she just didn't know how to do anything with it or didn't know it was even possible. The examples that the comment made were that: She has unrealistic standards for men and will only settle for a prince, going so far as to wait 12 years for the kid brother prince to grow up (supposedly) Despite this and getting a prince she leaves with no hesitation to help Tiana when she gets messy and upset. That dress obviously wouldn't fit Lottie, that was a custom dress and tiara just for Tiana. That she had around. Just for her. She gives up on the prince immediately when Tiana expresses interest in the prince, going so far as to kiss the frog for her. Pays her an enormous ridiculous amount for catering of the beignets just so Tiana can have her dream restaurant Despite the probably intense racism and segregation of the time, she makes sure to hang out in places Tiana is at, hang out with Tiana, and show her closeness to Tiana in public.

I really love the whole twist in the end, this movie is so underrated! Loved watching this with you guys, I can't wait to see you react to more animated movies! I hope you'll react to more Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks and whatnot. Off the top of my head I'd recommed Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002), The Prince of Egypt (1998), The Road to El Dorado (2000), Treasure Planet (2002), The Sword in the Stone (1963), Luca (2021), and Encanto (2021).
