Did you sleep well? Do you know what today is? It’s Mother’s day! Yay! Well, today, you know what we’re going to do Trevor? We’re going to give mommy the day off. Daddy took the day off from work so he can make sure that she’s going to have a day all to herself or at the very least, she’s gonna have the two men take care of her this time. Mommy does so much for you and Daddy. And while we say thank you mommy and tell her we love her every day, today should be all about her. So, go on, tell her what we made. We made some chocolate chip pancakes. And look, show mommy what you did with the strawberries. GASP did you make mommy little hearts out of the strawberries Daddy cut up? Yes you did. And Daddy made coffee just the way Mommy likes it. Be careful, it’s still very hot. We don’t wanna have to go to the burn ward on Mommy’s day off haha. And what else do we have for mommy? GASP is that hickory smoked bacon and scrambled eggs with her favorite sauce that she thought the grocery store ran out of? Yes it is! Mommy should know by now that Daddy knows how to find anything and everything…and he does mean…everything. [brief pause] Oh come on babe, Trevor isn’t going to know what that means. Anyways, sit up so you can enjoy your food. Oh honey, you’re plenty decent. It’s not like we haven’t seen you dressed that way before haha. Well, are you surprised? We figured that your day should START with the two luckiest men in the world showing you how much we appreciate the best mother in the world. You know, instead of waking up at the crack of dawn to Trevor screaming his head off and you stepping on one of his many hot wheels with me already heading out the door for work. Haha. Eh so what babe. I called out of work to give you a day of much needed rest. Besides, my boss can suck my d—inosaur nuggets, which is what our little man here is gonna have for lunch while Daddy is going to get DoorDash of mommy’s favorite foods. Whatever she wants, it doesn’t matter what the cost. If mommy wants Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A, Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, whatever she wants. Mommy will enjoy it while wearing her pajamas in bed or cuddling up with us on the couch while watching whatever SHE wants to watch. [brief pause] Honey come on, when was the last time you got to enjoy watching your shows in peace? I mean, aren’t you far behind on like 3 animes? Oh right…you had to cancel your Crunchyroll account due to financial reasons. It’s too bad that it didn’t get renewed for a whole year…OH WAIT…YES IT DID! SURPRISE BABY!! That’s just one surprise. Guess what your other surprises are. [brief pause] Haha, close. I guess you’ll have to wait until we do all the chores before your day to yourself….OH WAIT HAHA TRICKED YA! All the chores are done. All the bathrooms are cleaned, the kitchen is more or less spotless, Trevor here got too excited while helping haha, and I swept and mopped up the hardwood floors, both upstairs and downstairs, all 10 rooms, and I already got food handled. You will not set foot inside the kitchen today, not even to fix yourself a drink. Trevor and I will be your waiters and your bartenders. I hope you like sparkling apple cider in a Paw Patrol sippy cup. Haha, I still don’t know why you stopped drinking all of a sudden. And not only that, when you go visit grandma tomorrow for her mother’s day, I filled up your car with gas AND had it washed. BOOM, Mother’s Day in the bag! Oh and once I tuck Trevor in and I read him a bedtime story and give him his night night bottle, I’ll make sure Mommy gets an extra special bedtime haha. [brief pause] Awwww honey, of course! You’re welcome! You deserve at least one day completely to yourself. Not just an hour or an afternoon or at most 3 hours on our date nights. Trevor and I are the two luckiest men in the world. We don’t deserve such an amazing wife and mother like you. You are the best thing to ever happen to us. I can’t see myself having been with anyone else. No matter how many times we make you mad or stress you out and vice versa, you are the only woman that can be the perfect mother to Trevor and the perfect wife for me. We love you with all our hearts and we want to show you just how much we mean that. I know that breakfast and ONE day can never truly show how much you’re appreciated, but we will still do our best to show you that everything you do is appreciated. You’re the best in the universe.
