Akimbo!?!

I know; you saw the title of our most recent RiffTrax Movie, A Talking Cat!?! and thought to yourself, “Is that the movie about cheese puffs?”
Well, yes, of course it’s mostly about cheese puffs, but don’t let that distract you from the distinct visual style the director brings to the picture. It’s a classic directorial technique known as “akimbo”.
Some examples:

Perfect. The in-focus background appliances are a nice touch.
More of the good stuff. This time the small appliances add to the eye candy.
And it’s not just our lead, all the actors get in on the akimbo fun:

And though variations are allowed and encouraged, there are rules, e.g.:

I’ll allow it…
Yes!
Not ideal, but yes.
No, sorry.
Not really the focus of the scene, so points off, but yes.
Absolutely not!
NO! This one is a mess and if I have to point out why then you don’t deserve akimbo.
Judgment call.
NO, dammit!

So please, come to A Talking Cat!?! for the cheese puffs, but stay for the akimbo?!?!
