no the mexican family does not know the twins. The twins for whatever reason needed to leave everything of their life behind (clothes, car etc) and gave it to that family - not in exchange for the clothes but separately because they didn't need it. they probably would have given it to them anyway even if no clothes were around. That whole storyline is WEIRDDDD tho

They’re there for revenge for their cousin Tuco. Hence why they went to hector in the home to find out his name
