Transferring everything to the new laptop...
Added 2023-11-25 17:16:54 +0000 UTCJust out of interest, I wanted to compare the old and the new laptop, as the new one is WAY smaller and lighter, but having the same 17.3 inch screen size. The new GT77 has some fancy HDR mode, haven't tested it yet. Last few nights has been copying over all the software, settings and plugins. The new laptop should be ready in a week, but I'm hopping over once everything is fully configured.
So I downloaded the Cinebench (free), and the title image is what I got. As I work with a laptop only, it would be really great if some of you guys could run the same test with a proper Desktop machine, as what I understand, the laptop GPU is way slower than thew desktop one.
If you have the time, please share your results with your GPU info and the score.

That's a nice upgrade! I did something similar: Went from a midlevel asus 11th gen i7/rtx 3060 laptop 16 inch 1080 IPS, to that new fancy g16: Ultra Core i9 185H/rtx 4090. 1600p 240hz HDR 16 inch OLED display. Don't actually have it in my hands yet, but can't wait to put it through its paces. (My main setup is a desktop: ryzen9 3950x/rtx4090 viewing on an LG C2 4k 120hz HDR OLED).
