2024-12-24 02:46:20 +0000 UTCmy dad showed me spaghetti westers when i was around louise's age. they were from the 60's and 70's when westerns were popular, but people were getting very tired of the 'american western' (movies where the good guy is always a good guy who only does good things and the bad guy is just as clearly defined). over in Italy at the time, they had begun to produce gritty, raw western stories, where the good guy wasn't always someone you felt like you could root for. the best and most well known example would probably be The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, but anything with Clint Eastwood in a cowboy hat before the 90s is a great flick. the character bob likes kinda feels like the Eastwood movies at the time, especially because he did have a series of like 7 or 8 of em. and since the movies came from italy at a time when people were a little ignorant and named some groups of people by some unique food they ate, they just called em spaghetti westerns lmao and don't trip on those comments bro, even when you post shit i don't rock with its fine, i still think its dope and i'm just glad the channel is growing.
