Big Battle System Update!
Added 2024-03-19 01:47:20 +0000 UTCWhat I had shown before was a suuuuper basic mockup of what I had wanted, but now the attacking system is implemented and works! Listed below are the new UI values seen in the top left~
-Light: Basically magic. Lets you use stronger attacks
-Spirit: A buildup of power given to the player upon dealing/taking damage. Once it's full, you can release the spirit within you for an all-out attack!
-Meditate: Take a turn to regenerate some Light
These additional values have not been fully implemented:
-Stamina: Will allow you to queue up multiple moves for your turn. Refreshes at the start of every turn
-Adrenaline: Your limit for missing your block against an enemy attack. Max is 4; Adds +1 for each attack blocked, -1 for each missed. If it reaches 0, you can no longer block for that turn and must receive remaining damage.
I plan next to ofc implement both the Stamina and Adrenaline features, as well as add the 3 other player characters to the scene!
