Hi! I need your opinion concerning how I give credit in my videos.
I'm thinking about how I give credits to animation creators since I'm just an editor making compilations.
Some people ask me for the source and I thought it was a better idea to put a watermark of the creator of the animation in the video so people can find more easily the creators and eventually support them instead of putting every creators in the credits at the end of the video.
It also fairer and more respectable for the content creators.
What I want to know is if the watermark will ruin your experience of watching the video? 🤔
This is an example of my WIP. I added a small watermark at the bottom of the video to illustrate. You will probably need to watch in full screen to notice if you watch it with the MEGA Player.
And since I give credits during the video, there won't be an end screen with credits at the end of the video.
If you can give me your opinion, it will be helpful 😊

That's true that sometimes, I got people who ask the source when you can see a big REKIN3D at the corner 😅 I don't know… I removed the watermark and the credits for the video on MEGA. It easier to just hide the watermarks and create 2 videos, one with watermarks and one where I hide those watermarks than making one with watermark and another with credits at the end or beginning (sorry I'm lazy sometimes 😅) And I upload on streaming platform the one with watermarks. I think this should be fine. Because the more videos I create, the more people are asking for sources. And I want to give credits to the animation creators so other people can eventually support them. It's a little bit complicated. I think I will create another poll to get your opinion 🤔

2022-03-04 08:02:13 +0000 UTCThe people who ask for source will ignore/not notice the watermarks, I don't believe it helps. I suggest adding the sources at the end in credits or at the beginning before the HMV starts, so it's impossible to miss.
