0.11 Is now complete and ready to play!
The update contains an additional 25,000 words, 1420 renders, and 69 videos, covering day 26 (Wednesday). It will cover some nice fun/sexy slice of life content, as well as some significant character progression and revelations with a few of the girls.
WARNING: This update will probably break saves - unfortunately it's a consequence of the new renpy engine version. If you start a new game though, you'll be given the option to skip right to the latest content.
This update also contains the new UI (for PC and Mac), so expect a few bugs here and there! I've done my best to test everything, so I don't think any of them should get in the way of you enjoying the actual content, but I've already discovered one at the last moment, and there may be more:
Currently the new photo gallery requires you to restart the game to see the photos you've unlocked.
Android:
The new UI will be coming to android shortly, however a number of issues got in the way of it being ready today. I decided it would be better to give you guys a version of 0.11 using the old UI, so that at least you can get to the stuff that matters at the same time as everyone else, instead of having to wait.

Please let me know if anything doesn't work and I'll try to get it fixed ASAP, and if you have any other feedback feel free to leave it here or on discord.
I plan on taking some time off this Christmas (this will be the first time in two years, since 0.1 released, and I could really use it!) so I'm going to delay the next dev log until January 5th. Though I plan on posting a special Christmas render at some point. Until then, I hope you enjoy 0.11!

This story is top 2 for me. It's right there with Eternum. The girls' facial expressions and body language are so amazing, I just don't get how you are so good at this.

I'm not especially creative in the sense of having the initial spark (I probably couldn't write my own AVN from scratch for example, much as I like the idea), but I do have a knack for finding new angles and tweaks (some good, some not so much...). Apologies in advance if I ever seem to be critical, wise after the event, or whatever...I really do like the way you handle this story and consider it one of the very best AVNs out there.

At the end of the 'kings game' sequence, when the MC has to identify the girls, Victoria only needed to kiss the MC for ~10 seconds more to prevent him saying who she was and thus being 'penalised' with a spanking. And she missed that opportunity! Really? Vicky proposes a game with a spanking option, and then misses an easy chance to get spanked? Unthinkable! (Yes, I'm being deliberately over the top here).

I don't even know if I can remember another AVN where I felt myself just passively smiling from amusement. The soundtrack really does give the whole game a very cosy feel, like I was going through it with a warm blanket wrapped around me. I feel like the writing overall but mainly of the characters and their interactions with each other just ruin other AVNs for me now. A major reason the game makes me smile so much. I even like the MC, which is so very, very rare for me. He's wise enough and mature enough to pass a functioning adult, which often feels rare in AVNs. He's also empathetic and kind. Not just kind enough to selfishly sate his primal urges, but genuinely kind. I've loved seeing Lucy grow more confident and Vicky become protective of the family. I just loved Vicky staring down people at school the morning after the Hamilton party, like if they don't stop staring she will break them lol. But I just love Lucy and Vicky together as the Queen mums of the family. I'm so glad this recently got recommended to me. I hope you enjoy a break and I can't wait for the next update. Selfishly I hope it doesn't take too long.

The Misaki story moving from the public transport harassing (I don't like it generally) to teacher-student (also taboo). My favorite parts: Akatsuki shower, Catherine-Hannah "training/taming" and the card game events. Catherine very nice/hot with those lingerie (looks like really a "princess without kingdom" 12/10, more hot than Vicky if you ask me meanwhile she is also hot character). Interestingly the black screen parts (MC eyes closed) which is easy job from rendering point of view. At the beginning I start afraid about will be boring for us. But surprisingly that was not a boring part, I am still waiting what is will be happened under/after that (You very nicely handled to keep interest high). The new GUI/BIOS/Gallery awesome, increase the game quality globally. At now not just the inside but looks like the outside is step up to well-deserved level. I am looking for (in future releases): - Sarah permanent residence in the Restaurant (how her father handle those) - Alison love path/cooperation how continues. Also is it possible to reach pace with their father by MC? - Hanna and Catherine two different way both definitely parallel taming actions - What a hell will be happening with Rachel? Which is the full opposite a the moment then any possible love relationship then any main character at the moment. - Also Elizabeth and Akari future progress. - How MC and girls able to handle the Founding Family meeting at next Monday "alone" aka without any external help (should MC have enough money for that)? - And finally I am afraid of Brian conflict --- Little bug info: Side Character Annabelle Age:55. Not a girl age, I expected less then 25. I just see Misaki 22 so I expect Annabelle younger the Misaki. If we talking about age I expected Elizabeth and Alison in close range not 7 years difference as now. From main characters I expected Misaki the oldest (my fault). Photos section just empty for me? I expected the all the pictures here what is made by MC under the story. Enjoy the Christmas relax and still provide us this interesting VN future updates Cosy.

I cry and laugh and fall in love with the characters you present in this tale. You make each girl feel unique and special. You also set really good examples of communication and consent while show that things can still be very very kinky. I love Cosy Cafe and can not wait to see the finished product someday. I think it will rival the AAA and big budget entertainment industry in how good the writing and story telling is. Again thank you.

But allways use items or part of premade scenes that you can use. It saves so much time for single developers. It is impossible to do everything from scratch. I know that there are a lot of people saying otherwise. But they are just wrong. Btw I discovered how Lucy got into the building before. The backdoor doesn't have a lock. But of course nobody looks for details like that.

Since then, expectations have been met or exceeded and still my favorite vn. This update has a lot happening for a single game day, I'm looking forward to replaying several times to discovering all the nuances that you prepare for us. I've played from story beginning about a dozen times, and find as fun as the first time every time. A huge thank you for sharing your creativity with us! As to this last update, all I can say is it's great. Again. The scene with the MC, Catherine and Hannah was hilarious! As to the UI redo, also great! Thank you so much for the text letter outlines, it improved my reading experience 100%!! So, until the next time, THANKS for all your hard work Cosy! Can't wait......

I can really see the work improve in quality as it goes, and the characters feel as natural as natural can be, and all with great pacing. The shot composition is fantastic and really puts value to the expressions, which you minutely change often and naturally. Music choice is great and I've taken time to listen to them all seperately for either scene or character and they all fit amazingly well, for some characters to an uncanny degree. You really show the benefits of the saying "it's all the little things that count" ...Now, none of this is new of course, but I just felt like yapping about how incredible this all is ^^ Take a very well desirved break, and I'll be here when you're ready to go! I feel like every update is better than the one before it. Personally, without spoiling, I loved the scene with one redhead and one blonde one. It hit me right in the feels. Also the UI was really nice, but I wasn't able to open any photos. Gave me only errors.

Same with Sarah's house; the back entrance and a few of the downstairs corridors are premade, but all of the major rooms and upstairs corridors I made myself, so you won't find them anywhere.

In Alison's bio you do not list Harriet as a sister. I would add Mira to Sarah's Bio. There were at least a few scenes between them. Brian's bio is the only one where you wrote Gloria Russel. You use Mr and Mrs everywhere else. There is no bio of the stalker. Enough whining for today. The new UI ist beautiful. I also really like the darker shadows in the dialog box. Makes reading easier. The clothing in this update is a step forward. Most of the time the cloths are fairly plain. Some are a bit more stylish. Like in the screenshot of Dev Log 43. Until now Sarah was sticking out. If I may ask. Which software do you use? I saw Akatsuki's Kitty night costume in the DAZ store. So I guess you are doing at least some of your character creation with DAZ. The subway and Sarah's house are also used in Eternum. But I haven't found the original models yet. Which 3D Engine do you use?

The spanking event and aftermath was especially good - and very true to the behavior of the women involved. I am already looking forward to your first dev log and thoughts on the next release - whether it will be a one day or two day rev among the reveals. I worry about the storyline getting bloated and how that would slow things down, so I can respect the need to exclude some girls, however much we might want otherwise ( I'd even be tempted to trim some existing girls, but I'm sure others would fight me on that! ). As you said though, it mainly comes down to ensuring that all the girls add something new and different to the mix...We might all like Vicky, for example, but having 4 girls that are all largely the same as her wouldn't be worth the effort. On the topic of Vicky...it's worth noting that Rachel was also on the list of 'main' girls...So we may well be getting Vicky's dream of having MC 'break' her..

She seems very well preserved for her age! A little sad to see her relegated to side-chick status, but Elizabeth making the main cast gives me room for hope. Another unlikely age is Mr Hamilton being 20.

It’s good to see new faces on here and the comments and commitment from them is absolutely astounding, one thing I would like to see is Hannah & Lucy with Akatsuki all being pregnant at the same time, anyway CC enjoy your Christmas and I look forward to the next update.

Just one thing though that occurred to me during replay : why would his grandfather not tell him of the founding families but still give him the restaurant ? Seems that it’s not a good idea with what happened previously but maybe you will explain it later ;) Thanks for your hard work ;)
