0.8 Is now complete and ready to play, I hope you all enjoy it!
Turns out my estimate of 800 renders was short (as usual), and the final count came in at 998!
Please let me know if anything doesn't work and I'll try to get it fixed ASAP, and if you have any other feedback feel free to leave it here or on discord. I'll speak to you all in the first dev log of 0.8 in a couple of weeks!

It is the expectations that people will have. As example if your neighbor owns you a favor you may ask to borrow his lawnmower because yours is damaged or a few eggs because your out. But if Elon Musk owns you a favor? You most likely would think of bigger things to ask. And thats the same its not a favor from MC the humble Cafe owner but from the Head of a Founding Family, one of the powerfull people that pull the strings from the shadows. That would be the perception at least. And if he can't fulfill them and instead gives them a cupon for a few free meals, people will be pissed (this example is a bit eaxaggerated of course). I hope you can see my point why I am not happy with the favor business, even if we just agree to disagree. I just wanted to explain my point a bit better. Keep up the good work

The ordering in the training wasn't really meant to be taken as a hard and fast rule - it can definitely work either way, though perhaps I need to go back and make that clearer. With Miss Takamura, I guess it's possible, though it would be quite difficult with the angle of the MC always standing behind her, I think she'd be more likely to see herself in the reflection. Honestly, the bigger risk would probably be that she notices the blue sleeves of his uniform when he reaches around in front of her. As for Sarah, I assume you're talking about her not knowing that the head of the Russell's was Brian's mother instead of his father, but I don't find that particularly unlikely. There's a married couple/harem at the head of each of the families, and she naturally assumed that the guy was in charge of that one just like the others. Add to that the fact that she actively avoids Founding Family business, and that her family and Brian's don't get along and interact very much (hence them not being at the party). Finally, with the favour - it's just like any other situation where you'd owe someone a favour. You'll try to help them out, but owing someone a favour doesn't give them a blank cheque to force you to do whatever they want (navigating this is going to part of the story and the MC's learning of the ropes)

2024-03-06 22:41:31 +0000 UTCSo...I realy liked the update, but there are a few things I would like to say: The first is about Anabell: How could she get away without paying? I mean according to the training it would go something like this: take order, collect money -> go get change and drinks -> get food. I don't quite get how she could get away without paying.... Next Ms. Takamura I mean most of the interaction was on a train infront of a window. If the inside is lighted and the outside dark, windows normaly are substandard mirrors....does she actually know who is groping her? Would be easy to see the reflection... And the last point is about Sarah her lack of knowledge about the founding families is a bit unbelivable. I mean not knowing who the other family heads are? Even if she is "just" the 4th daughter some things she would learn anyway....I mean the families interact so she sould at least know the major players of each family. And the favour thing on the flyer? The founding families influence apointments of state officials, the guy in school asked for help with a lawyer. All things that need either connections, money or both. So personaly I think the MC should be a bit madder at the offered favour. (I am aware however that writing will save the MC from any serious consequences, but still...)
