❤️READ THE STORY❤️

The disappearance of her friends sent a chill down Velma’s spine. Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo had gone to investigate the old chemical plant on the edge of town — and vanished. No screams. No signs. Just silence and the foul, sticky air seeping from the ruins.

Armed only with a flashlight and determination, Velma stepped inside. The beam trembled in her grip, sweeping across rusted pipes and peeling walls. The darkness grew thicker with every step, as if it were alive — watching her. Fear crept along her skin, but she pressed on.

A faint rustle echoed below. She descended a rotting staircase into the factory’s lower level, where nearly absolute blackness reigned. Her flashlight began to flicker… then died.

She froze.

Silence.

Then — squelch. Something clung to her boot. She jerked back — and felt a thick, cold substance coil around her ankles, then slide up to her knees. Another tendril wrapped around her wrist — then the other. Finally, a heavy, sticky mass covered her head. She was bound from all sides, trapped in a cocoon of tar. She tried to scream — nothing came out. The sludge muffled even her breath.

Panic surged. The cocoon tightened, drawing her deeper. Her mind raced with thoughts of her friends. Were they still alive? Had they been taken the same way?

Her heart pounded, eyes wide with terror — but deep down, there was something else. Not panic. Not despair. Resolve. Because if she gave up, no one would make it out.

But resolve wasn’t enough.

The Tar Monster was quieter and more cunning than anything she had ever faced. No mask. No villain behind the curtain. Just living, hungry darkness born deep underground.

Hours passed… or perhaps days. No one came. And soon, every trace of Velma vanished, consumed by the black, sticky void.

She remained in the Tar Monster’s lair — its final victim, entombed forever in silent, suffocating tar.
