"Durarara" doesn't mean or translate to anything; it's to mimic the sound of a rumbling motorcycle engine; so the motorcyclist and their vehicle are very much a mascot for the anime, as well as a character in it. I have watched this anime, but I cannot possibly tell you what it's about. Each character has their own thing going on, with storylines connecting/intertwining, and friendships/alliances/pacts/enemies being formed along the way. The female character looking around the corner at the couple suspiciously- she's related to one of the couple and has a sibling complex for them. I can't say I ever really got into the show, but I'm glad I watched it.
