2024-10-29 21:14:35 +0000 UTCWales is one of the countries in the United Kingdom and people from Wales are Welsh so its just a general taking a pot shot / making fun of a neighbouring country or equivalent of making fun of a US state, or in Tahani's case here also making fun of her being elitist about being English instead of Welsh, since as far as I'm aware eating finger sandwiches doesn't really relate to any Welsh stereotype its just a ridiculous out of touch posh comparison.
