The best part of this is rob's frustration with the bad decisions. And he's right. They are making the absolute worst, dumb decisions. Traveling on foot, long distance, and deciding to carry a bowling ball with you. That's comically stupid. I really thought they would try to kill that walker with the monopoly board. Idk why the writers thought it would be fun to watch completely incapable people try to survive. Especially after watching extremely capable people.

2024-02-02 16:20:11 +0000 UTCThat's the main problem I had with this show in the first season..... the kids would be dead in the first day... or, would have almost all died and had to remember their training, and use common sense. At least if that were the case I could forgive that. The entire premise... that four teens, vastly inexperienced with the world outside their walls, would attempt the 1000+ mile trek to New York State, from near Omaha, is ludicrous. Even IF they made the journey... it would take them MONTHS, with having to find food, water, and shelter as often as they could, while walking across a landscape that has been unmaintained for 10 years now, and no experienced trackers to find the best routes and avoid natural hazaards. The fact that they would listen to the girl telling them to just waltz through the massive rubber fire overrun with walkers... just shows how poor decision makers they are. If I was travelling with them, and this all happened to us in the first few days of travel.... I would have abandoned them all to die as they were sleeping in the toxic haze. After having seen that very same girl struggling to the point of dying trying to fight off a walker in the first episode... there would be no way I'd be taking survival tips from her, never mind her effectively giving up after leading everyone into the middle of it. The first season of this show is an exercise in patience.... it's such a trope... it's like watching those horror movies where the main character is always tripping while running away so the creature can catch up to them, and you are screaming common sense advise at the screen...

2024-01-16 08:15:32 +0000 UTCThere’s definitely some plot holes (fumes etc) but I do feel Rob is being a little harsh on the teens. You only have to log onto TikTok to see just how stupid teenagers are lol. I actually like this show, even though it’s a bit “teeny”. I enjoy the content. It definitely gets better imo.

Especially w/you Rob I mean seriously we're to expect they trekked through AND slept in toxic air and not ONE cough?!? Lol I'd have been hackin before I stepped foot in and inevitably eaten b/c I couldn't hold.my cough in 🤣🤭
