Progress Report

Well, the polls don't end until tomorrow night. But I have, of course, not been idle :-). Because I had the best idea what I was doing with it, I actually started with Day 5 of Revina's Week 6 content, which means the party-preparations just like the other five routes. You can see a sneak peak of their dresses in the images, along with some fun they get up to the night before at the Dark Indulgence ;-). I've got Day 5 entirely done, and have been working backwards from there. Day 4 has it's stills done, with the first of two animations rendering right now. Both animations should be done by the time the polls are, unless something goes awry. That will leave just Day 3 (though, truth be told, I'm unsure which order I'm putting Day 3 and 4 in) for Revina's Route.

After that, of course, I'll need the poll results to see what I'm working on. I'm hoping to get an absolute minimum of two of the Weekend 6 events done, and I'm really shooting for three if I can pull it off. I'd honestly be extremely pleased if I could wrap up those events by the end of the year. I have to admit that I'm super frustrated that my original plans, which would have seen the entire game finishing about now, didn't pan out. Ending up losing all of the money I'd set aside to upgrade my hardware to make that possible to unexpected medical expenses has, frankly, been depressing as hell. Something not helped at all by the slow bleed of Patrons for reasons I have no explanation for.

Frankly, I have to admit I'm starting to hit a wall here. I can't realistically support myself with my Patronage steadily dropping. I have zero idea how to fix it, since no one leaving has filled out useful information about why. Hopefully, things improve. Otherwise, Left Hand Magic might end up being my last game. I'm determined to finish it...but I'm putting in a god awful number of hours on it that I genuinely can't justify at this point.

Ugh. That got depressing fast. Well, no need to worry yet. Like I said, I'm determined to actually finish Left Hand Magic, even if it looks like it's going to take a solid 5-6 months longer than my original projections. After that...we'll see, I guess.
