2021-07-03 18:39:38 +0000 UTC- bumpkin - as in "country bumpkin" - a bumpkin is a country person who is unfamiliar with the wide world of customs, cultures, and technology - not a STUPID person, but rather, an ignorant person for whom everything is new and a marvel to behold - pool table without holes - part of a French game, but the yellow and red balls are part of an UK game - they've done an odd combo for the shoot ^^ - retro coffee shop - not soju OR water - they were drinking cider (probably Chilsung cider) in their old retro bottles - dong - Korean for town/neighborhood/village - team mint chocolate ftw - I LOVE after dinner mints, thin mints, york peppermint patties, mint chocolate icecream - ALL of it - but, admittedly, I ALSO love pistachio icecream xD - Yoongi being Korean American - it's an American affectation to say "umm" and "uhh" when grasping for words - Koreans use different words, like "ahh" and "ohh" - so he was actually being very clever and knowledgeable about American peculiarities ^^ - 52 for tuna-flavored cucumber - the Korean word for 5 is "oh", the Korean word for 2 is "ee", the Korean word for cucumber is "oh-ee", hence, the joke xD - the part where the boys had the photoshoot in the countryside really hit home for me - I have MANY fond memories of visiting my cousins in the Korean countryside, catching butterflies, dragonflies, and grasshoppers with my bare hands, just to catch them, look at them real close, and then let them go - they were fun and nostalgic times - qotd - I spent way too much time playing video games, watching kdramas, and binge-watching YouTube - I meant to spend more time practicing violin and piano, do more writing, reading the mountain of books I collected to read at some point, and refreshing myself on Korean (I spoke it fluently when I was a little girl, but I've lost most of it in the years since) - I got SOME of those things done, but not as much as I would have liked

2021-07-03 08:12:36 +0000 UTCNodeulseom is in Seoul. As well as Ttukseom is also a place in Seoul. Seoul is a province and it’s fairly big. There are many beautiful places to visit in Seoul. Also I really enjoyed this seasons greetings a lot and the concept because it kinda showed the idea of all of them coming from different backgrounds and provinces and meeting in Seoul. When they got to Seoul it was a strange and new place for them and they had to adapt to a new city. The way they dressed and dialects were all very different compared to Seoul.

But I would really recommend doing them since they seriously tell you a lot about the members and their relationship with each other, about their work and dreams or just casually chatting with ARMY. It would be really fun to watch them again with you guys too since I'm sure many of us might have missed a few good ones in between ourselves. A lot of the members actually did mini concerts/performances in lives too! They're super fun. ✨

It was an amazing experience! 💕 Edit: ignore ahead 😬 Just wanted to mention about what you talked about in the end about why the members didn't say anything about "that". It's actually because as you already know season's greetings is shot quite a few months before the year end, as they mentioned in the video too. Therefore this was probably shot during August 2020. So at that time they probably didn't know they got nominated and will also perform, since "that" also happened very late this year in March 2021. So that's why namjoon and I think suga's wish for 2021 was to get nominated and to be able to perform! So their wishes actually got fulfilled this year familia!!! Let's stay positive for this year too, tho BTS really doesn't need it now. They're far above it.🔥

Or maybe one day you could go through their longer Bangtan Bombs (called “Episodes”) to get another behind the scenes look at their MV shootings and award show preparations. There tends to only be a small percentage of overlap in the Episode version vs Memories version so if you watch both eventually it’ll give you a fuller view of certain events! Totally no pressure, though, as I know there’s tons of other content people want as well ☺️ Watching anything with you guys is a joy anyway. Also, I’m so glad you had a good time going through all the Seasons Greetings; it was lovely to rewatch them with you 🥺

In Jimin’s case, he said he looked like a bumpkin (as in someone coming from the countryside) I am actually neutral on the mint choco issue. I won’t be spending any money buying it, but if its already there at no cost to me, I wouldn’t mind it as a refreshing snack. Oh also, tuna flavored cucumber is just a peek at Jin’s masterful story telling skills. Be ready to witness more of his “Jinius” when you reach the latest run bts episodes 😆
