701 The Zarvs Secret Archive - Lv3 Shadowdark Adventure

They are either hired by the government to enter the archive and rid it of intruders, or contracted by the Zarvish Front, the people's liberation faction, to pillage the place. Regardless of who they work for, the archive contains an ultimate truth that would change the lives of everyone in the county: Countess Eleanor Zarv is not who she says she is, and the ruler's seat may belong to someone else...
In this level-3 Shadowdark adventure, the heroes explore an underground archive connected through magical portals. They must decide what to do with the information they learn here. Will they keep it a secret and allow Eleanor Zarv to rule? Will they blackmail her for profit? Or will they reveal who the rightful ruler of Zarvick County is?
This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
