422 Abyss of Spiritual Ascension

Beyond the woods, near the Misty Mountains Skirts, hides an ancient Dewborn sacrificial site. This adventure describes the sadistic tradition of throwing war prisoners into a pitch-black pit, only to be eaten by a horrendous and amorphous beast.
The realm of men ignores these nasty practices. Having information about this could result beneficial to the duchy and the Brukesian army nevertheless. Perhaps a reconnaissance mission isn't as crazy as it sounds.
This is the sixth detailed hex in our Brukesian Duchy hexcrawl project. The first page includes the following honeycomb graphic and random tables for encounters with creatures and NPC's and all.
Of course, the maps and overall information still are vanilla enough that people can repurpose them for other settings and adventures. This is a 30x29 squares dungeon!
