First Time Watching Gladiator REACTION!!!

Comments

Loved your reaction 🤍🤍

Walid

Amazing movie and great reaction. The world doesn't deserve you.

Michael Gonzalez

This movie holds up so well because it really makes you feel something. The build up is exciting and the end is tragic and uplifting.

Joshua Martin

Great reaction to a all time great movie Blu! 2 other movies for you to consider that are a Must watch! IMHO they are slower paced movies but both have a amazing story and soundtracks. PS: you will need tissues. City of Angels 1998 Romance/Fantasy And Ghost 1990 Romance/Thriller. I personally would love to see you react to them but don't think that would be as popular with everyone so even if you just watch them on your own time. Enjoy.

Gowai

"Not meant to do this?" Nah, your genuine emotions are what make you perfect for it. We all see that the reactions are real and that's a big part of why we watch and why we look forward to what you share next. Keep it up. You're awesome.

Ishy4Shizzy

This is a Great movie! One of the Greatest. This one,300,and Troy are my favorite 3 Greek tragedy movies. Another good older movie is The 13th Warrior. All very good.

Ursle Bush

Your reaction is mirrored, appreciated and valid. mutual tears were shed. truly a great film

Gülleøn Aví

Great reaction BLU.

Victor H. Niebla

This movie makes me cry a bit, too. It's human emotion lol- no need to say sorry!

Idk if it has been mentioned yet but if not i want to point out that, The Praetorian guards that took maximus to be executed were a completely different group from Maximus's own soldiers. They were elite personal guards for the Emperor and his family. And Quintus (His right hand man during the battle) Had no idea what Marcus Aurelius had told Maximus. He really should have chosen to believe Maximus, but chose his duty over possible morality. However, in the final battle, Quintus watched Commodus stab Maximus and instruct him to conceal the wound.. I think that was the last straw for Quintus, For in the end he did order his men not to help the monster when he was yelling for a sword. Lastly, Lucilla is an often overlooked hero in this movie.. The, absolute shit. She had to go through with that psycho creep of a brother. The way she risked everything to try to stop him. Multiple times.. If that's not bravery than, what is? Oh! Please consider doing a reaction to "The Last Samurai"! It is a beautiful movie not too unlike Gladiator.

Brian Winters

Oh and I believe this is the extended cut

Jared Sedillo

Do not apologise sometimes it’s better to be quiet and watch the movie and keep stopping and talking about it. Not much you had didn’t have to read into that I portrayed by someone his family gone. I actually had a tear myself so there’s no reason to apologise. thank you for the movie

Ian Richardson

I do remember that movie, it came out after Jaws :)

Angel`Brace

Definitely not fun but very necessary, somebody has to do it

Daddy Dogg Abbott

I apologize for the rant, but I had to get that off my mind

Daddy Dogg Abbott

I'm not trying to bring anybody down but it does really bug me with this movie because of what happens when you're technically betrayed, by the ones you love and then they rub it in your face wanting you break you _ the way I look at it, been there, done that, I'm over it

Daddy Dogg Abbott

My military puppy's name is Bella. She's a German Shepherd, and it's Latin for beautiful

Daddy Dogg Abbott

One of the first ones in 1 of the last ones out. I'm not done until everybody is finished

Daddy Dogg Abbott

Nothing but peace and love going to you and your loved ones, but I get it

Daddy Dogg Abbott

Technicaly, I died twice and woke up in the hospital angry

Daddy Dogg Abbott

Been on suicide watch Four times been riddled witt bullets been stabbed multiple times and i'm still hear Even If some of my friends aren't

Daddy Dogg Abbott

I sit outside, stare at the stars to calm myself

Daddy Dogg Abbott

Coming from a guy that's retired Navy seal team 4 demon dogs. I understand how much I hate this and just say. You know, Marcus Aurelius was adopted, and so were his 14 children, he never had a kid if that helps you any, it doesn't make it, not less gross. Fun fact, because I work too much. I apparently was one of the ones that my son got kidnapped, because why would women not do that if they can just use you for your money _ fun fact I'm only 38 and I already hate the world

Daddy Dogg Abbott

My favorite Richard Harris movie if you havent seen it Angel Brace, check out Orca the Killer Whale from 1976. Kind of a Jaws rip off and a bit of a B movie, but I love it.

James.Decayyd

You don’t need to say anything. It’s emotional.

Richie

You emote appropriately. This one made me tear up the first time I saw it. Such a powerful story.

I loved this movie when it came out, the ending was the best, it was a sad sigh but a relief to see Maximus going home to his wife and son in the Elysium fields. It also brought back two old school movie stars from the 60's and 70's who sadly have since passed on. Oliver Reed (Proximo) and Richard Harris (Marcus Aurelius), both known for famous roles, and they both were in Hollywood adaptations of Broadway musicals. Oliver Reed played the villain in the movie with his namesake title "Oliver!", although I don't remember him singing in it, and Richard Harris was in the 1967 movie "Camelot" where he played a singing King Arthur. Richard Harris also did some weird song in the 70s that made it to the radio "Macarthur's Park", a surreal song about a cake being left out in the rain, which Donna Summer also made into a disco hit. His final roles were an aging English gunslinger in Clint Eastwood's "Forgiven (1990)" and as the orginal Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter movies. He is endearingly remembered for trying his luck out with a box of "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans" looking to find a nice toffee but alas, surprising his tastebuds with earwax. Great reaction Blu 👍

Angel`Brace

Im only here for the movie reactions. Do more if you can

Awesome reaction Blu, And nobodies judging. We're just here to go along for the ride. I actually saw this in theaters when it came out and, there wasn't a single dry eye in the entire crowd by the end. I love this movie so much! The lessons taught, The examples shown, Timeless and truthful. We should all aspire to be even a fraction of the kind of person the character of Maximus was.

Brian Winters

Really great Joaquin Phoenix performance, just masterful. You did great Blu, and I am beyond honored to have shared a chill Saturday night, a couple of tears, and a great movie with you. I was today years old when I learned that the father (Marcus) was played by Richard Harris who was in a favorite animal movie of my childhood called Orca the Killer Whale, it's so tragic. I didnt recognize him in this at all until tonight. Really enjoy your movie reactions blufox, cya soon!

James.Decayyd

Liking the longer content. Last watched this movie 20 years ago. It’s a different experience watching it through someone else’s experience. Look forward to more.

hiddn_assassn80

It's ok to cry, Blu. This is a tragic story and few people with heart can resist a tear. You reacted beautifully. Thank you!

Warrior Pitbull

Not awkward, understandable. What is there to add to scenes overflowing with raw emotion that speak to universal truths. One can tell that you appreciate the beauty this movie conveys. That alone makes your reaction worthwhile. Also, you do add insightful commentary and analysis. So there's no need to fall prey to imposter syndrome.

Sven Lenhardt

I love the movie and it was a pleasure to watch your reaction <3

Michał Kolacha

This is one of my favorite movies since I was a kid, I love your reaction to it and your commentary was amazing so don't worry about that. Also shedding tears to this movie isn't a bad thing even I shed a tear😁

Jared Sedillo

Great reaction with good movie. I enjoyed watching with you. Would like more movies with Blu.

August.T.Rex

Blu I'm glad you liked this movie it's one my favorites, if you want to react to movies like it there is The Patriot or Braveheart and if you want a good comedy movie there's Dodgeball or Tropic Thunder.

Clay

Shedding tears is just a sign that you’re human, nothing to be embarrassed of.

Timothy Hartnett

It’s hard to not be emotional when watching this epic!

Michael Woods

I just watched both movies consecutively (the first one at home, the second one in theaters). This should be a good one!

Simon Forester

I'm really glad you enjoyed it Blu, and seeing as you didn't mention it I suppose I'll have to. The announcers eyebrows in this movie are captivating!! They're the best natural eyebrows I've ever seen. 10/10 😂😂

Metabolicspore0

Thank you Blu, I really enjoyed watching the movie with you :) Dont feel bad for not talking enough, your reaction talked enough for you :)

Leif_Lazyeyedkitten
