There Are None in the World Like Me

Hi guys!

I just got back from a mini-vacation! I needed that. My brother's birthday, my mother's birthday, and Mother's Day are all in May, so that's the time I try to go back to Vermont to visit for a couple of days. My girlfriend drove the whole way and I paid for the gas, and also for dinner. Leunig's Bistro in Burlington, Vermont has the best food in the world, and I wanted to bring her there. They had Duck Confit Poutine! (Duck cooked in its own fat, with rosemary and thyme, served on poutine which is cheese curds on gravy fries) It was the best food I have ever eaten!

I'm mostly vegan and at least vegetarian, but I will usually make an exception for some really good duck. Oh yeah, also I saw my family and that was nice - but damn that duck poutine was tasty!

On the way home, we had to sleep in the car at a rest area for a couple of hours and keep moving, because we couldn't find a single motel - the entire state of New York was full! It's because all the SUNY colleges were graduating this past weekend. I still had a bad sunburn (from attending the OSU graduation the previous weekend), and I was exhausted, then I slept for about fourteen hours, and woke up with a fever yesterday.

But now I'm feeling fine again, so I'm back to... "normal". ^_^'

I know, it's not porny at all, but... instead I feel like it's something someone could write a novel about. But Neverwhere already exists and that does the job pretty well, even though these characters are a little bit outside of that setting.
