Love you guys, happy US Mother’s Day (ours in UK is in March)… your mama holds a special place in our hearts too JnJ, she raised two excellent men and you’re doing a great job with your younger siblings. This song hits more with your reaction, thank you. Personally I’ve tried with my two biological children to raise them to be good decent young men, and a year ago today I welcomed my foster son to our home and now with three teenaged boys I’ve got my work cut out for me. My boyfriend also has three sons! 5, 7 and 10.. so we’re rising all six on a trip in July. I might play them this song 😂 let’s see if it helps them appreciate their parents and try their best 🤞🏽

Seeing him perform the song made me cry…not from sadness but just from the emotion of it. My mom disappeared from my life when I was 9 and I didn’t find her until I was in my 30’s and she was dying from breast cancer. I did go meet her(we lived several states apart), and after talking with her I forgave all the past and moved forward from that day to spend the rest of her days with her. She made it 5 years. I will be forever grateful for that time with her. Beautiful song JHope - and thank you both for the reaction. 💜💜

Side note: This is just my opinion but while I LOVE that you guys are seeing BU content with the short films, I think it may be slightly spoiling it for you. You'll never experience the shock from the films again. I'm on the fence because viewing them now then reviewing them later might aid in understanding the storyline, but it may take away from the overall thrill. I don't know. Its ultimately up to you guys and I'll be happy with what you choose, I just want you to be aware.

2023-05-15 13:45:42 +0000 UTCThe only technique I can give you when watching the short films from the Wings album/era is not to only relate it to the song's lyrics directly, so you won't get confused. The genius and beauty behind the solo songs is that they are designed to be interpreted in 2 ways. 1st is to relate it with the Bangtan Universe once you get into it, you will understand why the short films were made like that because the films are supposed to connect with each of the member's fictional characters' back story....2nd is to interpret it outside of the BU context, which is what you guys are doing normally because the songs were also made using the BTS member's own personal real stories/experiences/emotions/ thoughts. So, what I'm trying to say is that each of the songs have dual interpretations, one that is fictional and the other true to life :) OMG I just can't wait for you guys to get into the Bangtan Universe, it's a whole new rabbit hole that's deeper than any multiverses you've ever been exposed to, it may even rival the Marvel universe in my opinion :D

J-hopes mother was also at one of those concerts and he said after that she cried when she saw him and when she heard the song

You can feel his love on stage , and it is not an act, but rather genuine true love. Don't worry about understanding the short films just yet. You will get there and they will make a lot more sense then. And on that note, the long, long, long awaited Bangtan Universe drama, Youth, is finally coming. We don't have a date yet but they are beginning to tease it, so it should be sometime in the near future.

Or the Wings tour DVD?) has a member, i believe Jimin, asking JHope backstage at some point if his mom cried that night. (Yes, of course she did)

Mother’s Day has always been a 4 generation girls day 😄 And what I learned since being a mom is..As a mom your love for your child is unconditionally and forever.. there is nothing that can shake this love for your child.. even if we moms are sometime so typical moms 😅🫣 (you know what I mean right?) most of the times is coming from a place of love.. Jared and Jordan and all who lost there moms.. It breaks my heart for you but I know that your moms are loved you all with all they had. Thank you for this wonderful present at Mother’s Day..
