LESSON #3 - “Mastering 3 Combinations” | Learn Korean w/ J&J!
Added 2023-05-01 21:00:02 +0000 UTCToday, Teacher Wonji teaches us how to read and master combinations of THREE Hangul characters! And guess what...after you complete today’s lesson, you’ll be able to read 99% of Korean words (assuming you’ve completed the previous lessons as well)!! 😉 🎉
Please do not be discouraged if you feel lost or confused while trying to comprehend today’s class material…we’re right there with you. IT'S SOME COMPLEX STUFF.
But practice and persistence makes PERFECT.
Not only will we be rewatching this lesson a couple more times in order to cement all of the tricky “rules” into our brains, but we'll be going back to watch previous lessons again as well. We encourage you to do the same (if you have time)!

jared and Jordan can you please ask wonji to explain the difference between the meaning of the color green and blue? in serendipity Jimin says blue mold, but in the lyrics it says green mold. i have heard a korean man trying to explain this. but it was hard to understand and he didn´t know why korean people did that. it happens when the light turn green at the gross walk, people says "it´s blue" witch means you can walk now.. even if the color is green they say blue. maybe wonji knows why. I hope you understand it is a little hard to explain.

2023-05-02 01:16:24 +0000 UTCThank you guys. I’ve been practicing daily on duolingo and I’m impressed at how much progress I’m making between watching these videos and that. There’s a few TikTok creators who give bite sized korean short videos too, I watch some of those each week but as a language teacher I’m really impressed at how Wonji’s classes and watching you two learn is also helping me retain more. I split your videos into smaller chunks and watch around 10-15 mins, then stop and write the words in Hangul with English translation in my notebook, practise using them or remembering content where I’ve seen the word (괜찮아!) etc and then do some more a few days later, so your posting schedule actually works great for me cos it’s taking a few weeks to complete each video a couple of times so that I’m confident in the info. They do look hella long to edit so I’m even more grateful you’re persevering. When I win the lottery we can all fly to Seoul for the comeback and have a month immersion in the language 😝 Thanks again, being part of this particular branch of army is so lovely. 💜💜
