Covid Blues
Added 2022-01-21 18:47:39 +0000 UTCOmicron continues to make my life challenging but it's *possible that I feel a little better today? I lost my sense of taste (insert joke here) a few days ago and it's just starting to return a little, so that's probably good. I didn't realize that some people experience 'covid nightmares' but yup, that's definitely a thing. The cough persists, but my head isn't aching anymore which is nice. Husband claims to be on the mend which is hardly surprising, he always heals faster than me. The thing that continues to be the most annoying is this full body and mind fatigue that makes it nearly impossible to do anything. I did a load of laundry yesterday as my 'do one productive thing today' and I had to lie down afterwards. Feels bad man, lol. Anyway, my hope is that come Monday I will at least feel up to trying to get back into my work routine. I miss drawing and I'm not used to this whole entire lack of physical and mental energy nonsense. And thank you for all of the well-wishes, I appreciate the kind words and sentiment behind them. :)

2022-01-24 13:05:37 +0000 UTCI'm relieved to hear that at least your husband is showing signs of recovering. Here's hoping you start showing more signs of recovering soon too. Just make sure you don't push yourself and listen to your body; if it's telling you that you can't work on Monday, don't force yourself to do so. Your health and recovery should be your top concern. .

2022-01-22 05:07:55 +0000 UTCI worked from home with no problem. Just wasn’t allowed in the office. As long as you stay hydrated and eat you should be fine. Just might be a little slow cognitively at first.
