April thoughts and other stuff!

So it's now a new month! April went pretty well though there were a few snags, and I managed to get to 9 of the promised Ovum drawings before the end. I've been told by a few other Patreon users that the first month is usually the most stressful, but thanks to everyone in the server I haven't felt that it was all that bad!

That being said it has allowed me to see where my limits lie; splitting Ovum into two halves and working on them 10 at a time had proven to be an excellent idea overall, though this month I'm going to try something a little different. I'll be focusing on completing that tier's promised art *first* to ensure everyone gets their due, then finish gold/silver as the rest of the month goes on.

However, I'll also be working on commissions too. I have a small backlot of already owed that really needs worked on, so May will be a lot of trying to balance that on top. My plan is to see how well I can manage Patreon and commissions so I can offer ref sheets as a potential option... also getting the first comic off the ground. While I do love working for my patrons there are a lot of other things I'd like to offer, commissions especially, and I want to avoid burnout if possible. 

This may require some changes to the system overall, but as always I'll be discussing it with everybody before anything is made solid. 

Also I'll be starting a part time job soon to cover the rest of my expenses, but I'm going to try *very hard* to still finish owed work in a decent timeframe... at least until I can manage to move out of my current place. Once I move it will be all art all the time. This should only be for a few months. (I hope, I want to go back to full time art again.)

I appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation, it's been a treat working with Ovum's requests and generally hanging out in chat. I've got a good feeling about the group I have, and I really hope it keeps going!
