We actually took this video deep in the pandemic. We were not allowed to go to the beaches so we would find a little private spots that we could go to where nobody else was, early early early in the day before anybody else had woken up. This is one of the spots, I’m not gonna say the name of this place but if you live on the island, I’m sure you’ll know where this is.
On this morning I had only worn exactly this to the beach, we decided last minute to do a little fun photo shoot so we took a video as well. This is just one of the ways in which Jeremy and I kept our minds busy during the pandemic, we loved going to places where we did not have to wear a mask because nobody else was around. We spent most of the pandemic in that state of mind. If there are no bodies anywhere around, that’s the beach we hit until the police come and tell us to leave. At that point we respectfully gather our things and leave quietly. I’m not into harassing police officers or doing anything at all to attract their attention. But in this particular spot the police never showed up, we were able to have privacy and still see the beauty of the island without putting anybody else or ourselves at risk of Covid.
In the depths of our depression this was a difficult shoot because our minds were elsewhere but eventually we both got into the shoot and we were able to get in the water for a little while after the shoot. I remember holding onto Jeremy, sweet whispers, making out in the water, nude swimming, lots and lots and lots of love exchanged this day. It was exactly what we both needed.
It was our little escape.
