Wet Wednesday: Underwater No. 6

Sometimes life needs to be about play. It’s important not wear ourselves so thin that we create illness and instability. I know the hustle is real but listen to your body. If you’re tired sleep. If you’re overworked, take more time for yourself. Listen to the rhythm on your cycles. When to stop and when to go.

Folks tell me “that’s a luxury I can not afford “. To that I say, I see you! But after I stopped hustling, I started making better money and working fewer hours. Prioritize well paying jobs that you enjoy. Focus on how to achieve more self care, working less snd charging more for your time. We set the standards for how others see us and respect us. I was afraid to move in this direction because I wasn’t trusting my own insight and value.

Now I see that if I treat myself better I also treat my community better. The more I say no to things that bum me out and don’t produce joy, or income, the more I can say yes to the things that do.

Trust me. Better yet, trust yourself💗

Listening to the rhythm of one's cycles is all important. Do not fight them, learn to flow productively within them. It is a wonderful thing when one's rhythm meshes with another's, if only for a brief moment.

Danielle you are right, slow down, enjoy life and be good to yourself. By the way, you look like a beautiful, sexy sea nymph.
