Hyena Female Template

Hello, Dogson here with a wip of the template for Female Hyena

We're getting ready soon for content release but I will have to ask for some extra days to tighten things up even more before we can do that, so perhaps around thursday-friday or the weekend at most.

You are completely delusional, you make references to trolling yet you continue to troll and are the only one trolling. I had something to say and said it, you turned it into an attack, look just cuz you are rabid fanboy, doesn't mean I am. Similarly just Becuse I made a critique and voiced my opinion doesn't mean I hate the devs, you speak of maturity yet the most immature thing you can do is attack others for not sharing your opinion. You don't have the morale high ground here. What you are doing is harassing me. Stop.

rugarou

Sorry your maturity level is obviously superior to mine … I mean removing your funding from an artist because another fan said something that hurt your feelings … makes total sense in fact if you want I can send you a list of all my favourite bands so you can be sure to delete their music from all your playlists. Maybe a list of my favourite books and video games so you can go burn them in the back yard that’ll really show me. I mean obviously the artists I like deserve to be punished for my opinions. It speaks to your character beautifully

Chad Saunders

Again with this? In case you couldn't tell the situation was resolved, the only thing you did was cost them additional funding. So by all means, continue to attack other people's patrons.

rugarou

This will be my last comment on the matter because I learned long ago that arguing with internet trolls is useless. by all means message them your opinions but there’s no reason to publicly "attack" the creators on their own page in the comments of a content release that the majority voted for and accuse them of greed because you didn’t get exactly what you want when you wanted it … if you feel that way you could have just privately messaged them. But hey each to their own

Chad Saunders

Tell you what odes: We are all here because we believe in your work, your project and most important in YOU as a person! I'm working on my characters because I know that animations will come true and it doesn't matter if it would be mid 2022 or end 2022 because we creators will go on creating characters and we will go on and donate money. I fully understand if people get frustrated because of the lack of more content and I myself do wish to get my folks alive as well but that takes time if it is just one person and if that one person is giving it his all to make it as good as possible. And that is exactly what he is doing.

Blacky

Okies thx bruh you will definitely see me back later! And thank you for understanding. :)

rugarou

Well that escalated quickly. Anyway take it easy, but take it.

Static_snowflake

Ah, you had me confused when you mentioned body parts. Dogson is indeed the one responsible for creating new body parts, and he works on his own. His work doesn't interfere with my work. The poll was about whether or not I should spend a few days back-porting a feature that's already implemented in the future interactions build regarding appendage groups. That's all it is. It's not a poll that I should delay the interaction build at every step of the way in favor of enhancing the current content builds. It was just this one thing. It's OK, rugarou. As I said, I think it is a miracle we have garnered the support we have considering there's no adult content atm, and I'm very grateful so many have chosen to come along with us on this journey. But it's perfectly understandable that not everyone can pledge during the development period. It's perfectly fine if you jump on later once the adult bits are implemented - if you feel like it. Thanks for wishing us good luck, and hope to see you soon again. All the best. - odes

FurryVNE Team

The wording of your polls states delaying interactions build over content, or focus work on interaction build... I'm here for the animations, not the character builder, all the folks here that want to just build characters are probably pretty happy, those of us whom are here for animations, are not ... There are many ppl whom engage in this hobby, culture, life style for different reasons... Some like design, some like painting, some like animation, some like to watch... At the moment this really only caters to one group of fans. If someone else such as myself speaks up about it, we get attacked and ridiculed thus the echo chamber remains intact. So, I'm not sure about any misunderstanding you pretty throughly laid it out in your response yesterday that y'all are doing your own thing at your own pace and all we are gonna see for the next year is an assortment of body parts. I'm not ok with that, I stated it and lowered my donation, so I could keep up with progress but then got attacked by a sycophant so at that point I de-subbed entirely. This is crap. Y'all still have a nice day tho and good luck in your endeavors

rugarou

There seems to be a misunderstanding. Dogson and I work in parallel. We're not working on body parts instead of interactions, we're working on both things at the same time! 😉

FurryVNE Team

Yes chuck live in an echo chamber, no one else has valid opinions except the sycophants. A check of the vote shows I'm not the only one that feels they should be working more on interactions. Choosing new body parts over an entirely different section of the program is meandering... And attacking someone that voiced thier concerns for voicing thier concerns is petty.

rugarou

Ignore that….{GUY } I had a stronger word there but don’t know how the patron rules on swearing go. I think I speak for most of us here when I say we appreciate what you guys are doing the new content is not only exciting but you constantly allow us as the community to choose and vote on what you add despite us all giving you a hard time and yes we are all very excited for the ability to animate our beautiful creations but I think we can all agree after disasters like cyberpunk 2077 that having a creators with the passion and patience to match their ambition is gonna be far better in the long run. And you manage to do this while some how still releasing quality content to keep us excited. We are not all in it for the adult content either so being able to create and sculpt our own custom assets and clothing as cloth has been incredible especially as a mostly sfw model designer and with the obj export options I can 3D print my characters. What you’ve given us is so much more than a yiff engine it’s an exciting way to break into the world of 3D without much knowledge and makes learning blender and the rest an exciting experience since we can work on our own characters that we have made in furry VNE. My point is not all of us just want to animate sex I talked to you about the possibility of idle animations and I can’t wait to see all that and the possibility of seeing my characters walking around but to have that done well is gonna be worth the wait until then thanks for keeping us entertained with the awesome new base characters and options.

Chad Saunders

Ok so in response to the rhetorical questions, trickling out content makes more money because it's a carrot and donkey routine. So yes stalling does work. Implementing interactions would increase revenue, I don't see how you could think it wouldn't. You've pretty much said several times you are aware of the financial losses, so, ergo, those losses would be recouped, and more exposure would lead to more fans. As for working on something for less money, there are labors of love, those labors aren't nearly as cool if we do them only for themselves, so money or not I suspect you would still be doing the project. I am going to unsubscribe for now since it is going to be more than 6 months before interactions. I do like your work and I am a fan but this is taking entirely too long when other platforms exist that do the same thing as furryVNE best of luck to you and I'll be back when I teractions are in the game

rugarou

Hi there rugarou, Thanks for raising these concerns. I must be honest, I've never really understood the "stalling" argument. When we decided to quit our previous project to pursue the enormously ambitious FurryVNE, you must realize we were making a big sacrifice. At the time, we were doing great, financially speaking. The method of essentially being the sole creators of new content (in that case characters and environments) and making periodic updates works astonishingly well. It makes sense, I suppose, since every time we'd release something, it would create a huge incentive for users to pledge to get access to the new content and characters. This is indeed the way most projects seem to operate. Even newer projects than ours are doing this, and they're greatly rewarded for it. When we decided to pursue FurryVNE, our revenue was cut, month by month, until it was essentially reduced to only a third of what it was once making. Imagine that accumulated "lost" revenue over the years, and you will begin to realize the magnitude of our sacrifice. FurryVNE, in a way, makes no financial sense. When content is abundant, its value is decreased. Despite this, despite us having something that worked (financially) that was much easier to do, despite the difficulty and ambition of our new project, and despite us essentially being punished for pursuing it (financially speaking), we endured. We have always believed in what we're doing. The lure of going back to drip feeding content (not because intentionally slowing development necessarily, but because it takes time to create content) and releasing it has always been there, and the success of competitors' projects are a constant reminder that we could be doing something far more straight forward and yet rake in more money. But we choose not to. Why? Because it's not about the money. It's true that money is what enables us to work on this project. Indeed, if this project wasn't making money, then we would have to spend our time and energy doing some other tasks that generates money so we can pay for our rent, mortgages, food and some leisure. But the money in itself is not the goal. When we started this project, we set out to transform the furry fandom. We wanted this project to be something more than just an expression made by us - we wanted it to be a reflection of the fandom itself. The furry community is extraordinarily creative and talented, and very few projects, if any, tap into that creativity. Imagine, then, a character creator combined with visual noveling tools and state of the art realtime physics, both rigid and soft bodies, put into the hands of this community. The possibilities! That's what this is all about for us! I'm not exactly sure how "stalling" this project would benefit us. Do you really think we'd be somehow making less money once we have actual adult content in it? Wouldn't it be the opposite? In my opinion, it's a miracle we're generating any revenue at all considering we don't have any adult content at the moment, and it's all thanks to the generosity of our patrons. Maybe people have grasped what it is we're trying to do, and are just as excited as we are to see it come to fruition. If you want to be part of that journey, you can be, and if not, that's OK too. We'll be here, regardless, because this is our mission, and we are pursuing it with near religious devotion. I think we are transparent and communicative of what we're doing. You can follow us here, on Twitter or FurAffinity and see what we're up to. Our updates speak for themselves. If that still somehow is not enough, then there's plenty of content-only projects to choose from. But know, then, it's no mystery why there's so few projects such as this. Because only a lunatic would pursue something of this difficulty and that generates less profit. (Luckily for the fans of our project, I am this lunatic. :)) To answer your very direction questions: 1. 6 months seems optimistic. 2. Yes, of course there will be interactions. We would not go through all this trouble of making custom physics engines and what not if this wasn't our intention. Now I have a few questions. (You don't need to answer them, they're mostly rhetorical.) 1. Why would you undertake an immensely difficult project and stall it, if you were already making more money doing something easier? 2. Is someone who still continues to work on that project, despite it earning less, really after the money? 3. Would implementing interactions increase or decrease revenue? I.e., does "stalling" even work? All the best. - odes

FurryVNE Team

Will interactions be in the next 6 months? Or are y'all planning on taking another year? I can create characters in blender and animate them with SFM... So I'd like to know if this is just a really neat character creator, or if it's going to actually get interactions. Ive been a patreon for quite awhile, so I know you guys are good at what you do, but Im at the point where Im trying to decide if I should just spend my time and money with SFM and support the various model makers for itvia patreon, or if I should keep waiting and tinkering with YL1. I'm a patient person, but this is dragging on and if you guys stop for every little detail then this will never release, theres an entire zoo full of potential animals and variations that ppl want, at some point we need the actual tool and not just content on top of content.. to be perfectly honest, it "seems" like a stalling technique. Not trying to be an ass, but thats what is on my mind.

rugarou

Love it! I hope it has the futa version, like real hyenas XD
