Doing an amazing job. I truly wish there were more people like you. As someone leading an investigation into Steve Wozniaks co-founded crypto which appears a pump and dump construct to enrich two anonymous entities that controlled the entire supply at “launch” before dumping $300m of tokens in the first year to unsuspecting retail token holders - all I can say is it’s unbelievably difficult finding investigators like yourself or ZachXBT so I really wish you might consider setting up a wider scale company, or perhaps creating a paid course for how to investigate such scams and how to start legal proceedings across multiple jurisdictions while navigating bogus defamation claims to try silence. Chain analysis is another aspect I would really like to be educated on. There’s overwhelming evidence of $20-$70m of team held tokens being transferred out of wallets outside of any vesting schedule which the team refuse to answer, and now they seemingly try to bury the project. Many other aspects also such as claiming 40+ employees when zero are on the financial reports, Steve Wozniak having informed token holders that he sees tokens as shares of stock when in reality Efforce invested the funds raised into investments for their own profit not to be shared with token holders, hundreds of lies about private investors, investor price etc, and involvement in a Chinese Ponzi scheme which key Efforce management were supporting with private events. Where do you start? Honestly there’s a huge market you could tap into and the benefit to the crypto community on a whole would be huge!

But on the other hand, there is chances that Steam reply badly to it and decide to file a lawsuit. Sure Valve is far from being one of the most aggressive company in term of lawsuits, but it is really big claims and Valve already managed to get few court case dismissed about the gambling problem. Now adding to that the Money Laundering accusation, Ouch! In any case, if this is really happening, it have to be investigated and it really should be stopped. I really really hope for you that they won't file a lawsuit against you, you already have more than enough with Logan Paul.

The News is full of hollow, expensive suits rather than the muckrakers we need, and that's why what you do is so very important.

2024-09-23 19:09:50 +0000 UTCI really like valve, but their policy on inventory/market items is just awful. I was once a very passionate DOTA 2 player. I had premium and limited edition items in my inventory. I was also trading things I didn't use. One day I got contacted by those scam accounts and was offered a trade. Now while I was partially to blame to accept a trade link, these apis for trade should be more strict since you are dealing with valuable items. So I got a large portion of those premium and limited items stolen from me (something like €3000 worth at that time) and when I contacted valve, they were like "yeah, we can't reverse that, because duplicating or giving you back those items (which might be already in possession of another player would impact the item economy. You should be more diligent next time". The nerve of these..... they prioritized defending the scammers. After that reply, I immediately traded off the rest of my inventory for €0.01 each (losing something like another €2000 in the process), deleted the game and have never played it since. Just to make a statement on what I think about their "economy". In hindsight, this was one of the good things that happened to me as I was spending way too much time playing that game. At least I got a silver lining there.

Exceptional and hilarious puns aside, I'm glad you're going after this one. Way too many stories out there of kids carrying gambling addictions in to adulthood because of the Steam Market.
